Review Centre: Singers & Vocalists

"Dusk Duo visited pop essex on Sunday 24th of November at our Christmas Event. They performed Christmas songs and got our visitors in the festive mood. Dusk Duo sang beautifully and engaged with the audience capturing their attention for the whole performance. We throughly enjoyed their singing and dancing and would highly recommend. "Cannot thank Laura enough for making my 50th birthday bash the best night ever. The dance floor was jumping and the music was exactly what I asked for a mix of 80s and feel good music. Laura started my evening singing all the best floor fillers and had the dance floor filled immediately Will not hesitate to get Laura for any future family occasions. Absolutely beautiful voice and really loved entertaining everyone. As abba says. Thankyou For The Music xxx "

"Harvey has sung and dj'd on two occasions for me. Both parties were brilliant thanks to his singing and choice of tunes. I highly recommend him. Everyone was dancing and singing along all night. Great repertoire of songs too."

"Yasmine has the most amazing voice and really is a great preformer. We were due to have a garden party but due to heavy wind & rain we had to last minute change venue to our local hall. Yasmine accommodated well. A smallish audience due to England playing!!! Thank you so much. Would 100’/. Recommend "

"Kit was a wonderful addition to the boat cruise I organised for my friends hen do, his sophisticated attire and flexible style (upper deck/lower deck/upper deck again!) made him a pleasure to work with and the classics he sang and played made the whole afternoon a real delight, thank you Kit!!"

"Sam sang at my Daughters Christening on 15/03/15. He was everything that we'd hoped. He had a lovely sound and was willing to learn anything we wished. For me he learnt John Legend- All of Me and sang it beautifully! I'd wouldn't hesitate in recommending Sam. Thanks again!"

"I hired the choir for my daughter's wedding. The communication was great, all very straightforward. We made contact well in advance of the wedding day so we were able to see them live. We even gave them a new song to learn and arrange for the choir, with an extra long introduction to give us time for the wedding procession to make its way to the front. Nothing was too much trouble. On the day the choir were self-contained with their own sound system, discreetly positioned and all smartly dressed, all set up on time, everything worked out as planned. They were amazing and sounded absolutely perfect. I cannot recommend them highly enough. There is something about the human element, the soulful and emotional harmonies of live singers. It was so much better than pressing stop and start on some pre-recorded tunes. "

"I booked Darren Shaw through Last Minute Musicians during the summer to entertain our group at the Christmas Party which we held on Thursday, 1st December 2022. You can imagine picking someone from the internet to entertain a group of over 150 people at their special annual bash I did it wondering if I had done the right thing. The evening came and Darren was at the venue in excellent time to get set up and for Richard to test the sound equipment. We had our meal in the lovely venue of the Grand Pavilion at The Moorlands, Ogden, Halifax, which is our local place for posh parties. Then on came Darren and from the very first number I could relax and enjoy the evening as he was wonderful. He very quickly picked up what our audience liked and he ran with it all evening. He did us a 45 minute spot and then we drew our raffle which was quite a long affair as we had many prizes and in total we made £432 which went to our chosen charity for the year - Prostate Cancer. Then on Darren came again and had everyone on the floor dancing and for those who weren't able to dance we could sing along and sing our arms in the air to Sweet Caroline and such numbers. What I great evening he gave us. I spent the following day receiving emails and phone calls from people who had been at the party telling me what a wonderful evening they had had and saying how wonderful Darren had been. I would not hesitate to recommend him as your entertainer, you won't be disappointed. "
