"We just wanted to drop you a quick note to say a HUGE thank you for being an absolutely amazing DJ at our wedding on Saturday. Everyone was on their the feet for the majority of the night dancing away and didn't want you to stop. We particularly loved the fact you did some old school kisstory type songs, it was amazing! "Delighted by the service from James at Basement Hire. Wanted lights and sound for my wife's 60th birthday party in a local Tithe Barn and James sorted us out some brilliant kit and came and set up a splendid arrangement with the minimum of fuss and at a time to suit us. Ditto collection after the party. Very easy to deal with for pre order queries and advice and also kindly collected a mirror ball for us from another supplier. The farmer who owns the barn said it was the best party he'd seen there in the 5 years they'd been operating and this due in no small part to the lights and sound (and of course the partygoers!)."

"The Weekend Groove rocked the whole wedding away!!! Everyone was dancing like there was no tomorrow as the band performed outstandingly mind blowing!!! Not only their amazing performance was awesome, but their friendly attitude towards all the wedding guests. Absolutely excellent!!!"

"We used Last Minute Musicians for my husband’s birthday party and I cannot recommend them enough. We chose soul debonair (Noel) who was absolutely fantastic. He went above and beyond the whole evening. He is a delight to have around at your party. He compared DJ’d and sang a fabulous array of soul which really made for a great party atmosphere. His voice is sensational. If you have one entertainer for a party in your life ... choose soul debonair. Last Minute musicians were excellent professional and quick to respond to any questions we had. Thank you all so much"

"Best end to a Wedding you could hope for!! James and Big Day Revolution played and DJ'ed at our wedding 11th May 2024 and they smashed it out of the park!! They even created and played the perfect first dance song which was a blend of both acoustic and rock versions of 'I believe in a thing called love' and they truly. Couldn't have nailed the brief better!!! The band members are lovely and really engaged with our guests and kept the party going! We've had so many amazing comments on the band and how wonderful they were so if youre thinking of booking, don't think just do! You will never regret that decision! Thank you James and Big Day Revolution!!"

"Myself and my partner Tim got engaged in August 2016, and having worked in PR and events for more than ten years, one of my biggest decisions after the venue (and the dress of course) was entertainment. I remember spending hours researching acoustic guitarists, because I really wanted to walk down the aisle to an acoustic guitar. But I didn't just want the run of the mill guitarist, I wanted a real profesysional. So I had a number of factors on my checklist. I don't know if Sheldon realised just how long I searched for him but I swear it felt like a lifetime. I wanted a genuinely talented, entertaining guitarist who was also a professional, who understood the importance of my big day, someone adaptable and unique. And even after all of this someone who had fantastic reviews... and someone who had a proven track record online. My eyes and ears genuinely lit up the day I found Sheldon, he had the most professional website, he was passionate and tech savvy enough to have video blogs. For a future bride to bride I loved watching them and picturing my own big day. It wasn't just that though because the first time I emailed Sheldon, I had an instant and helpful response and within a day, we were speaking on the phone. He knew exactly what to say and even explained that rather than paying for a DJ, he could do it all in one. This made perfect sense to me, as my experience juggling suppliers for events, I was desperate to hire one pro to take over one element of the wedding. And choosing Sheldon to organise the audio was the best decision I could have made."

"We just wanted to write to say... Wow! Rob is awesome! To quote me from the day...'Wow Rob, your voice is so dreamy...If I wasn't already getting married... I'd have married you!' He was so good that our guests thought we had a CD on! Apart from that, he looked great, he was on time, professional and just fantastic. You should be really proud to have him on your books! You guys were great too with the whole booking and were great at communicating with us so thank you also! A huge thank you from the both of us!"

"We had the best day ever for our wedding party and Mitch played a big part in that. He read the room, got the vibe right and had everyone dancing all night. The percussion sets made everything feel a bit more bout and special. And he was flexible when we made a couple of questionable music requests too :D Definitely recommended for parties and weddings. "

"I couldn’t recommend Kirsty enough for an event or wedding. She was amazing from start to finish, great communication and totally got the kind of vibe we wanted for our wedding. She arrived on the day and set up super smoothly. She knew exactly what to play and when and the from the first dance the dance floor was a hit. She was great fun behind the DJ booth as well. Music was such an important part of the day for me and Kirsty absolutely delivered and more! I was 5 months pregnant at my wedding and I think I danced more than anyone else the music was that good."
