"We absolutely loved the SW Funk Collective (or Solar Funky Music - not sure what you’re actually called as your website has a different band name to LMM!) at our wedding. Not only did they do all the simple stuff perfectly (i.e. turning up on time and setting up efficiently with minimal invasion) but their performance was also fantastic. A truly cohesive group of talented musicians who not only do the Motown and funk classics of the 70s proud, but also curated a set list based on our preferences and learnt a song not normally in their repertoire because it mean’t something to us. Their performance was energetic and tight, and no effort was spared (including bringing and playing a slide whistle for just one song). I have already recommended them to several friends for their upcoming weddings. "

"We were so impressed with the band. They were patient with us as we struggled to follow instructions. We had around 30 children. They were adaptable to the situation in front of them. They had everyone up and dancing. Really enjoyed them and yes we'd book them again."

"What I love about booking Prince Buster is that you have full confidence in his show. Not only is he a good performer but he interacts well with the crowd cracking the odd joke. It is also not uncommon to see Prince Buster jump off the stage and join in the dancing with the crowd!"

"The band were a pleasure to work with, professional but friendly. They set up very efficiently and discretely considering their arrival time was mid-meal. Considering they had a tricky audience demographic of 65-90 year olds, they managed to get people up on the dance floor with gentle encouragement, for a fabulous end to a great event. Would book again for sure. Thank you!"

"Soul Salad were perfect for our event! I’ve seen a lot of acoustic acts which sit in the background and struggle to get anyone’s attention - this isn’t the case with these two! They manage to create a huge sound (which you wouldn’t expect from just one guitarist and one singer) and really got the crowd dancing! I’d recommend Soul Salad to anyone looking for a great musical accompaniment for their event"

"I booked Kellys Heroes to play at my 60th birthday party. You were amazing and everyone loved you. Everybody there was talking about how good you were, and they are still talking about it, even now. You were the main feature of the party which people remember! Of course, your excellent local reputation preceded you and that took some living up to - you did so admirably. I was worried that, with such a diverse group of guests, there would be awkward silences but Tony did a sterling job at getting people up on the dance floor and, once they started, they couldn’t stop. Quite a few of my friends commented that they forgot we were all hitting 60 and were dancing like young ‘uns. It says much for your music, though, that the real young ‘uns also joined in and it was a treat to see that younger Irish generation (because about 2/3 of the party were Irish) showing off their traditional dance skills to your music. Your song and tune selection was really excellent. Just the right balance, and lovely to have some songs which were favourites (Billy was completely made up with Carrickfergus) and others which were original compositions. Of course, the standard was – well – absolutely professional. It must be great to have such universal appeal. I can honestly say that your music hit the mark with both young and old; English and Irish – and even the small Greek contingent got up and learned a few dance moves! Your CD is being well-played on Corfu and in Athens now! I noticed a good few of the staff from the bar downstairs snuck in for a sneaky look too. You really made the evening for me and do, please, feel free to use this if you need a testimonial. Looking forward to seeing you soon at one of your gigs. With my very best wishes and thanks again. "We can’t thank Radio Dukes enough for the music at our wedding. They were absolutely amazing and everybody kept coming up to us for their details and asking how we found them. Everyone was up dancing for the whole set. They were such lovely guys, so friendly and professional and even played a last minute special request. I would’ve paid to see them in concert they were so amazing! Thanks guys! "

"Laura was absolutely amazing at our wedding! She’s incredibly talented and made the day feel so special. She even learnt a song especially for us to walk down the aisle to, which meant so much and it sounded beautiful. All of our guests commented on how wonderful the music was. We were so impressed that we asked her to stay longer, and she was so accommodating and kind about it. I honestly couldn’t recommend her enough, such a lovely person and an incredible pianist who helped make our day perfect! 🎹💍🤍"
