"Just a quick e-mail to say thank you to you and the band. We all had a fantastic evening and everyone commented on how good you guys were. Unfortunately I don’t remember too much later on as the effects of alcohol well and truly took over, but I do remember dancing for ages, so this is always a good sign. Hope you guys enjoyed it as well. Take care and if I can ever be of any help, don’t hesitate get in touch. "Met Sam at our local pub originally and we both felt the same, shall we ask if she could sing for us on our special day as she simple has natural talent. She agreed and the paperwork was simple and price agreeable. She sang for us at the Lion Quays and was very much part of those special moments that you will cherish in your hearts forever. I watched our DVD with her footage and we are so glad she agreed to help make our day complete."

"We received so many compliments from our wedding guests on the performance by Motown Memories at our wedding, they were excellent! Ione brought fantastic energy to the evening and it was a joy to have them play for us. We couldn't recommend them more highly for any aspiring couples wanting a great evening of live music for their big day!"

"This is an amazing band, totally professional, totally reliable and a joy to have at any event. Every guest loved them and would return to see them play, they get the audience involved and are a total asset to any event. Would definitely employ them again, they understand what you need them to do and are flexible and incredibly easy to work with, a great price and worth it if you want your event to go off with a huge bang. "

"The guys were absolutely fantastic, my parents were delighted with the surprise and everyone has commented on how the steel band added to the party atmosphere of the occasion. My only regret is that I didn't think before hand to get some lessons from the band before the day to play a tune for our family and friends.... that would have been an amazing surprise for everyone!! I'll have to do that next time! It was also a pleasure to deal with you, you were very helpful with the booking. If you ever need a reference for you or the guys I'd be happy to provide one for future clients."

"What a fantastic day! Getting the right music is one of the most important factors when planning an event so we were so lucky to be able to hire Kit for our golden wedding tea party. There were songs to suit everyone’s taste and who doesn’t like to hear a good saxophonist on a lovely sunny afternoon! Nothing but compliments and happy faces and would definitely like to use Kit again."
