"From the first email exchange to the last note of the encore, the band were excellent: professional, fun and fantastic at turning our wedding into the party we wanted. They could not have been easier to work with, and they delivered precisely what we wanted without any fuss. The next day, our guests kept asking who the band were, where we found them etc. as they were so impressed. Book them!"

"We booked Funk With Us for our wedding in October and wow, it was the best decision ever!! The music and dancing part of the wedding was so important for us and SWU absolutely smashed it - so much energy from start to finish - we (and our guests) never left the dancefloor. It exactly what we'd hoped for and dreamed of... especially after 2 postponements! We loved being able to choose our favourite music from the SWU repertoire - which Lilac then transformed into the perfect setlist for our party. After the wedding, so many of our guests commented on how amazing the band was - and its the music makes the party!! Huge thank you to Lilac and Remko for everything."

"DJ Karl performed at our wedding last Sunday and we couldn't have been more grateful for the service we received! Great music, perfect timing to drop the dance-along classics. Weddings can often get chaotic with song requests from every corner but he was so approachable and friendly to all of our guests, it was a pleasure to have him be our DJ for the wedding! HUGE BONUS as well! DJ Karl took some cracking photos of the guests on the dance floor! We didn't expect so many great pictures from the dance floor after our photographers left but we were all in stitches at some of the party antics! Highly recommended! Thank you so much mate!!"

"We really enjoyed meeting you guys and we loved your music down at the wedding pavilion and then up at the main marquee - really made the party - great atmosphere and non-stop dancing! So glad you have been booked to come down to us again next year, bring a tent next time - or you can stay in one of the tipis!"

"Billy recently played at my mothers funeral. The communication beforehand and liaison with myself, the funeral director and our celebrant were all about getting in right on the day. It couldn’t have been more right, a choice of kilt, tunes and positioning all thought about and delivered to perfection. I should also say that his playing of the pipes is to an exceptionally good level, faultless. I can say no more than to highly recommend Billy, absolutely 1st class, stunning service. "We hired James Burwell for our daughter's wedding. I must compliment him firstly on his musical ability playing the saxophone and secondly to be flexible in playing our wedding party in three positions (inside and outside) This music set the scene and really sent everyone into a happy frame of mind. So thank you James, you were just brilliant."

"We chose Wendy to play at our wedding and it was such a good decision. She played beautifully at both the ceremony and during our wedding breakfast. She is such a lovely person and we instantly knew from our first conversation with her that we wanted her to be part of our wedding day. We chose the songs we wanted to be played for the ceremony and they sounded amazing on the piano. During the wedding breakfast Wendy played a selection of songs which added to the atmosphere of the day. The feedback we received from our guests about Wendy was so positive and we can't thank her enough for sharing her musical talent on our special day. Thanks again Best wishes Rachel x"

"A fabulous group of individuals very professional and a joy to listen to whether you have a large audience or like mine quite small, whatever The Skippers can tailor it to your event keeping your guests entertained all evening. "We booked Nigel to play the piano at our wedding in May. Wow! He is an absolutely incredible pianist with a huge repertoire, spanning many genres, which he plays from memory. Our guests loved him and so did we! He made our special day even more special and created a wonderful atmosphere! Nigel also has a fabulous personality, is extremely professional and efficient and responds promptly to emails. He really works closely with you, to ensure that he understands your preferences and adapts accordingly to changing situations throughout your event. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Nigel for weddings and other special events and would definitely book his services again!"

"I booked Becky to sing at my wedding and chose to include her as one of my ‘30’ due to it being a covid wedding. It meant having one less guest but Becky’s talent absolutely blew everyone away! "Had Tom at our wedding, what can I say about this Man, absolutely incredible from start to finish. His professionalism through out was amazing . His voice is absolutely unbelievable and was able to sing a huge variety of songs. My guests were simply blown away. He made our wedding so much better. I would absolutely highly recommend him, and he has an option of his band who were also amazing. My friends and family danced the whole night. On top of that such a humble nice guy went out of his way for us. Just an all round perfect experience. I guarantee you will not be disappointed.
