"We had an excellent evening with a wide range of ages. Everyone loved Marcus the music and his fantastic sense of humour. We had two different sets of music, one for the arrival of guests and then the main party music. All the age groups just mingled and had a great time dancing we even had blow up guitars and microphones which the younger generation just loved. I would highly recommend Marcus to anyone wanting something slightly different to the normal disco. Comments received on the night:- I love him and what a wonderful person. We would defiantly book him for any future events. Thank you again Marcus for a wonderful night. You made my 50th very special."

"Simon was just what we'd hoped - he played wonderfully and had such a great repertoire. Due to the logistics of our wedding, it was just great that he could play the violin (ceremony) and the piano (reception). I'd recommend in a heartbeat, thank you Simon."

"We had the pleasure of having Vicki, an incredibly talented saxophonist and DJ, perform at our recent function, and she truly made the event unforgettable. From the moment she started playing, her music had everyone in the room straight up to the dance floor. Her range was diverse, covering a range of genres that appealed to all our guests. This was achieved by not only being an excellent saxophonist but also DJ-ing during the same period. Vicki's professionalism was also commendable. She arrived early to set up, was well-prepared, and interacted with our guests in a friendly and approachable manner. It was clear that she takes great pride in her work and strives to deliver the best experience possible. This was confirmed by several guests commenting on how much they enjoyed Vicki’s set. We highly recommend Vicki for any event. Her talent and dedication to her craft are truly exceptional, and we look forward to having her perform at our future functions. Sgt. Hayden Maguire"

Everyone in attendance commented on how talented she was and how amazing her voice was. Thoroughly enjoyed having her play at our wedding and would 10/10 reccomend her to anyone organising an event."

"She performed a number of classical pieces in the interludes at our wedding ceremony which many of our guests told us they had very much enjoyed. She played beautifully and really added to the special, intimate atmosphere. She added elegance to our day and was very accommodating of any requests. Highly recommended! "

"Alongside being a guest at our wedding, Christopher also played for us too (on 2 separate occasions during the day!). Everyone loved Christopher’s songs, from the youngest to the oldest guests, he had everyone singing along. He was amazing and we couldn’t recommend him highly enough. I am very lucky to have a wonderfully kind and amazingly talented cousin! Thank you so much Christopher for being such a big part of our special day, it meant the world to us having you there. 5+ Stars!"

From our very first conversation, she was warm, professional, and attentive to every detail, ensuring all our requests were handled in such a personal and reassuring way. We had a specific song in mind for the start of our ceremony, and Lyra Strings performed it beautifully. It created the most romantic and emotional atmosphere, and so many of our guests came up to tell us how much they loved it. Even days later, we were still receiving messages about how her music was one of the standout moments of the day. We chose a mix of classical and modern pieces, and each one was performed with such elegance—it truly set the tone for a perfect day. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Lyra Strings.
