"I recommend Sarah Richmond as the professor of a warm vibrant mezzo voice suitable for the concert hall, opera house or recital venue with piano. It is a voice that will encompass baroque, classical, romantic and contemporary repertoire, which she will embrace with enthusiasm, musicianship, coupled with care or the text and music, sensitive to all stylistic requirements."

"We honestly couldn’t recommend Rachel highly enough! From the very beginning, Rachel was absolutely amazing. She took the time to get to know our family and really understand what we wanted from the evening, making everything feel so personal. We weren’t really sure where to start, but Rachel’s experience and knowledge were invaluable. She offered brilliant advice on what would work best, knew our venue well, and even helped us liaise with them, which made the whole planning process so much easier and completely stress free. On the night itself, Rachel was simply outstanding. Not only is she an incredibly talented singer with a fantastic voice, but she also created the most amazing atmosphere. She had every guest up dancing together, which is something I never thought I’d see! She has such a natural ability to engage with everyone and make people feel included, and that really made the evening so special. Rachel was professional, personable, glamorous, and such a genuinely lovely lady. She went above and beyond to include all the little touches we had asked for, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. We’ve had so many comments from our guests saying how incredible she was and how much she made the night. She truly played a huge part in making my brother in laws birthday such a memorable celebration, and we’ll always be grateful for that. "The very first time we heard Vera Voce sing, she performed "In the Arms of an Angel" on a YouTube channel. We absolutely loved her voice and knew she would be the ideal singer for our Christmas wedding in 2022, and we were so fortunate that our wedding date suited her diary. Little did we know, then, that Vera Voce would - in a metaphorical sense - come to provide those very angelic, reassuring arms for us on our wedding day, as we were faced with a number of unexpected challenges (including train strikes, snow chaos, and traffic delays). It all added to the stresses of the day, particularly for the bridal party, who were not sure they would even make it to wedding in time. However, the moment we entered the Church and were met by Vera Voce's soaring aria as she performed her opening song to the Groom ("Nella Fantasia"), any worries and anxieties magically disappeared. Instead, a wonderful sense of calm and serenity descended - like arms of an angel - where Vera Voce's song, accompanied on the piano by amazing Paolo Freitas, literally transported us to a breathtakingly beautiful, almost etheral, space in time. From that point, everything fell into place, and Vera Voce became our guiding light and steadfast beacon for the rest of the day and evening. Not only was she our amazing soprano for our wedding ceremony, singing five songs in four different languages (Italian, Latin, Portuguese and English!), but she single-handedly provided the full musical entertainment for our wedding reception, covering everything from Depeche Mode to Abba - and even led the wedding party in a surprise Les Miserables flash mob! We are indebted to Vera Voce for making our wedding day the huge and unforgettable success that it was; her work ethic and professionalism is second to none, and her warmth, great sense of humour and generosity of spirit is something we will never forget. We feel we did not just hire a singer for our special day, but a true artist who engaged everyone with her presence and creative performance, and who has become a friend for life. We cannot recommend Vera Voce enough. She will bring joy and light and life-time memories to any special events, giving 110% until the very moment the lights go out for the night. Perhaps the greatest testament to the lasting effect that Vera Voce had on our wedding day was when the Priest himself leaned over and whispered to us during the ceremony: "Where did you find this singer? She is fantastic." We would only like to add that choosing this lovely young woman to sing at our wedding, and at the reception, was one of the best, if not the best, decision, that we made when arranging our wedding. Thank you so much, Vera Voce. We love you xxx."

"Dear Neil Just wanted to send a note to thank you for all you did on Saturday at our wedding reception. You really did a fantastic job and contributed such a lot to making our wedding day very special and go without any hitches. Both Francesca and I were really impressed by your performances, and we mean ‘Performance’, not just singing. We had many great comments from all of our family and friends. They were all amazed and impressed by your singing and by the way you included everybody into the party atmosphere. We also have to thank you for really making our day even happier when you sang our favourite first dance song, it was amazing. What a surprise on the day. (You should definitely include it in you repertoire!!) "Venezuelan soprano Sofia slipped in, in splendidly soulful isolation, in sleepy-slinky Barnes. Sofia’s charm comes from an ability to engage with her audience with vivacity, a slow waving of the arms or a thumbs-up cheekily pepping things up. This was a two-way process, for the audience, although in their own homes, were there via a livestream chat facility, commenting, praising and importantly requesting numbers. What were requested? Jazz standards, show numbers and some current pieces rubbed shoulders with languid classics sung in French or torrid numbers in her native Spanish. The jazz standards were impressively and beautifully sung. Cole Porter’s 1944 classic, Ev’ry Time We Say Goodbye and Meredith Willson’s 1950 show tune ‘Til There Was You, had just the right balance of poignancy and warmth of these post-war nostalgic gentle pieces. The mood changes, but not the sincerity of the singing, with the traditional folk song, The House of the Rising Sun, retaining the blues feel of a song that became the “first folk rock hit”. Then, we were transported to the late sixties with the Aretha Franklin version of I Say a Little Prayer For You. Her skill in Latin American music was epitomised by the famous bolero, written by Mexican songwriter Consuelo Velázquez, Bésame Mucho. Sofia’s soft but passionate treatment of the lyrics harked back to the dreamy sensuality of the 1940 original. I expect many of her fans were responding by blowing her lots of kisses. Nevertheless, it was not in a Spanish song that Sofia excelled, but in French. Of course, it had to be Edith Piaf’s immortalised song to love, La Vie en Rose. Perfectly rendered, both in words and music, and fervent in its performance, she expressed exactly the powered of infatuated love. Great stuff, and good to see today’s vie en rose. In these straightened times, we all need occasionally to see the world through rose-tinted spectacles. "

"Lucinda was amazing from start to finish. We are a relaxed couple but Lucinda took the time before our special day to make sure we were happy with everything. Everyone commented how amazing your voice was after the drinks reception! Also thank you Lucinda for being so flexible with moving your set up with the weather and to keep our photographer happy!
