"I can't begin to thank Claire enough! Our singer we originally booked for our wedding had to cancel a couple of months before and recommended Claire to us! Claire was so professional and always contactable, she sent us a demo of her signing including our chosen songs before we even confirmed our booking. we had managed to pick 3 songs all by male singers (not on purpose) but this didn't matter as Claire had new tracks made for the songs! On the day Claire performed our music so beautifully in fact one of the guests thought it was a CD! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Claire or indeed book her again if I ever needed a singer!"

"Wow, what an amazing talent. We asked the lovely Emma if she would play for our wedding on 31/12/2023 and what an amazing set she performed. From our first initial contact, Emma was so lovely and helped with any questions or concerns we had. Nothing was too much of an ask for Emma, even to learning a bespoke song to be played whilst we walked down the aisle. Our guests all commented how good she was and would have loved to have listened to Emma play all day. It was such a pleasure to have Emma play such a beautiful part of our day and the memories will live with us forever. Thank you so so much"

He works extremely hard and with passion in all his music projects and performances and has a heart of pure gold. He can play a wide range of musical genres and is never phased by requests for people's favourites. He can play live or produce great quality videos to suit the occasion. Very flexible, being able to play the piano and the organ to a very high standard, complemented by his compere Rowen, they make a perfect team. Always pleases his audience, with a big smile, great sense of humour and plays the music perfectly, Richard is definitely our number one choice!"

"Seamus came across to Hull to play at our event. He kindly helped us out of a problem. He was highly recommended and certainly did not disappoint. Gave him a list of random genres and the party started. It was great fun shouting out requests too. Seamus plays music in between sets also. Towards the end of the night we asked Seamus just to play his Irish music which was absolutely fantastic We was all dancing all night Seamus is a professional and fun guy and will not disappoint you in any way Need an event to book him again "

Most wedding musicians are self-contained and provide their own sound equipment which is suitable for typical situations. If your event is to be held in a large venue, or you have more than 300 guests, we recommend that additional sound equipment should be used. Always ask your act about their sound system requirements. Some wedding musicians have lighting systems, but most usually will charge extra for this or recommend a third party supplier for you to use.
Each event is different but the typical performance time for wedding musicians is 2 x 45 minutes sets within a 2 hours period. Some acts are happy to play longer sets or additional sets. Often, breaks can be negotiated but you should be aware that the price may increase if the musicians need to be onsite for a longer period of time.
Booking wedding musicians as early as possible increases the chance of securing their availability on your event date, particularly during busy times of the year. However, many acts also accept last minute bookings, and we have successfully arranged performances for clients with just a few hours' notice.
You should always check whether or not your act is prepared to play outdoors. Weather conditions such as wind, rain, or extreme temperatures can affect the performance and the instruments. If you are planning an outdoor event you should be prepared to offer a flat surface for performers as well as a cover in case of unexpected rain.
The cost of hiring musicians can vary significantly depending on the type of act. The average price is currently £405. Budget-level acts may be available for as low as £50, while top-tier acts can command prices as high as £5900.
