"Black Velvet Band Irish Band were excellent and really added to our Irish themed evening. Lots of very traditional music. The guys were very flexible and last minute added in a Ceili set without prior knowledge which was appreciated by all and added to the fun of the evening. Very highly recommended."

"The band were perfect for our large party of friends and family, ranging across several generations. Dawn and the boys know exactly how to get everyone up on the floor for both line and barn dancing. What a wonderful caller! She paced the evening perfectly and the enthusiastic musicianship of the band enhanced the feel good factor. We all had a ball, and we have been deluged with emails from all participants saying it was one of the best parties they had attended for many a long year."

"Wow, what a sound you have! We thoroughly enjoyed having you perform at our wedding last week and all our guests had a great time. So much dancing and fun was had by all, and literally everyone commented on what a wonderful choice we made in inviting you as our guest band. Weddings don't always go to plan and in our case a crucial lead broke on our ipad for the party music, and Kellys Heroes came to the rescue and very kindly donated their lead so we could finish off the party. Such talented lovely people so I very much recommend Kellys Heroes and we are looking forward to seeing you perform at another event in the future!!"

"Everyone loved the music so much! We just wanted to say thank you to you and the band for last Saturday! (30th September 2023 Saturday St Stephens, Pond Street, Hampstead, London, NW3 2PP) Everyone loved the music so much! Apologies for any confusion over your location, it was meant to be inside but it was /such a nice day I think Patrick and Angie directed you outside which worked anyway. I wasn’t sure if you guys had any of the canapés, I did ask them to make sure you had some but I didn’t hear you have a break either so apologies if you didn’t. Absolutely brilliant and such lovely people too. We booked wraggle taggle for our wedding, Mick was responsive, organised and gave us plenty of options regarding instruments, set times etc. On the day the band were brilliant, all the guests loved them, and they were really friendly lovely people. "As a passionate fan of Irish folk music, my daughters arranged for Paul Brennan band to come and play at my 60th birthday party as a surprise. They didn't dissapont , with a brilliant selection of Irish music and songs it was lovely evening. Paul's mastering of the Ulian pipes has to be seen to be believed. They were very friendly and played everything we asked for. I would definitely book them again."

"I hired The Haystacks to play at my 40th birthday after seeing them perform at a friend's wedding. I would highly recommend them as they play a wide range of popular music from different decades, with the possibility of learning a favourite song to make your occasion extra special. Many popular pop songs work in there soft rock/country style as well as the more obvious classics. For example Lady Gaga Bad Romance I preferred to the pop original. So they are a good choice for a party of all ages covering many music genres."
