"These guys played the ceilidh at our wedding reception and they totally nailed it. It was a great night, with great fun had by all. Their caller was clear, and their musicians were top-notch. They were also really kind and facilitated the fact that we were running behind schedule, even to the point of staying 15 minutes later than booked for. Would definitely recommend them to anyone!"

" This is the third year we have had the pleasure of Black Velvet Band providing our entertainment for Burns Night. Once again it was an absolutely fantastic night had by all, with everyone thoroughly enjoying the dancing. Great explanations throughout and lots of fun. "Oh, what a night I had to remember on Saturday. (11.9.2021) Sound with Us came to do a Ceilidh for my big birthday bash and provided a disco for afterwards. They were just out of this world and had everybody up dancing or jigging along in their seats. Their sound quality and musicianship were first class and the caller, who had the biggest task keeping everyone in check, did a magnificent job. My guests were in fits of laughter and he was so patient with us and eventually managed to guide most of us through our paces. I’ve had so many messages since, asking where I had hired such a good band from. Sincere thanks to all the band Fran xxxxx"

"Blue jewel was the crowning jewel in an absolutely fantastic wedding weekend. All our guests absolutely loved the upbeat and joyous music (particularly the Israeli dance) and got involved in the fun. We had a brilliant time and made some incredible memories!"

"Our family just wanted to thank you and the band who played at Lindsay's wedding on Saturday night.Everyone enjoyed themselves thoroughly, and the ceilidh was a perfect way of mixing the London youngsters with scots and Irish families.Your wife was very helpful in keeping things under control, especially at the end when the Barbican were initially reluctant to allow the power back on when the noise limiter was triggered.My cousin has already booked you for a birthday bash next June in the Wheatsheaf, so we look forward to get into training for another reeling occasion!"

"A big thanks to Mike and the rest of the band for a brilliant evening. Everyone has said how much they thoroughly enjoyed it. A special thank you to Alan, the dance caller. He did a great job – quite a comedian! Finally a big thanks to the band for welcoming our fiddle-playing friend Richard into their ranks for the evening. He said he had a fantastic time. What a great party band the guys make! I’m very happy to recommend them to anyone having a bash."

"Thank you George it was a huge success and everyone loved the ceilidh part even though it was a little chaotic that just seemed to add to the merriment! Hopefully you will come and play for us again sometime as we sometimes run charity events in the village. The whole thing went by in a blur and would love to be able to go back and slow it all down! "Cannot recommend The Shamrock Experience highly enough. Firstly, just a wonderfully good fun and high energy act for people of all ages and abilities. I had 100 guests and all of them were up on the dancefloor, footloose, fancy-free and having the time of their lives. So much joy and laughter and no inhibitions. Ben kept us all in check marvellously! I have had so many comments since about what a wonderful band it was and how it was such a brilliant party. Behind the scenes and in the run up, Ben and the guys were helpful, informative, communicated clearly and in good time, and made the set up and delivery of the event itself so easy that I didn't have to worry about anything at all. Would definitely book again / would definitely recommend. Thanks so much for a really memorable night."

"Thank you, Angela for providing a beautiful solo performance at my aunt's funeral earlier this month. At very short notice you provided me with a bespoke programme of traditional Irish melodies played before the service. And you even learned a rare Irish tune to play at the end of the service that my aunt loved. All our family and friends in the congregation were so moved.
