"Thank you Ken for your contribution to making our Party on Saturday so brilliant. You were absolutely the right choice to give our guests (all 110) an introduction to line dancing. You got the balance right and the fun came as a result. The two late afternoon 45 minute sessions were the right balance to get the guests ready and up and dancing to the Band in the evening. "We had an excellent Golden Wedding Anniversary celebration with Barn With Us. Everyone had an hilarious time dancing. Gordon our call master was so patient and friendly guiding us through the dances. It was lovely to have a lively professional band. Everyone said they would do it again - even the younger ones! Thank you to you all!"

"FOB gave a fantastic performance at our Cambridge college's Burns Night Ceilidh. The band sounded brilliant and the caller [Ollie Simons] was very clear. They were a pleasure to work with, and a joy to dance to; the students had a wonderful time. Can't recommend them highly enough!"

"The Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio helped make our event go smoothly with great communication and punctual arrival. The music was well performed and great fun. The caller did a fantastic job of putting people at ease an encouraging lots of dancing and everyone had a great time. At our working event the next day, many attributed the positive mood and energy to the ceilidh the night before, so maybe it is the secret to successful strategy seminars?!"

"We cannot say enough good things about this band!! Fantastically skilled, wonderful musicians that created a warm, fun atmosphere from the moment they arrived at our venue. Every single one of our guests has commented since about how wonderful the music was and what a good job the caller Kip did of bringing everyone together and talking us through the steps in a relaxed but clear manner. The music the band played was varied and appropriately chosen for our style of wedding reception and EVERYBODY got involved and had a dance - the music really brought people together and created a wonderful atmosphere all evening. This band are amazing and excellent value for money, and we won't hesitate to hire them again at our next big gathering. Thank you so much Blue Jewel for giving us a magical evening, you were the cherry on our wedding cake!"

"I would just like to thank you for the wonderful performance on Sat night at my Daughter’s naming ceremony. We all had a great time, and everybody commented on how great the band was. I never laughed or enjoyed a dance so much and would like to have another party, just to have you play again. "The Rejigged Ceilidh Band played for our wedding a couple of weeks ago at High Rocks and they were absolutely wonderful! The talented band performed for us an incredible Scottish Ceilidh and dressed accordingly! The music was superb and the caller made the dance easy for all our wedding guests to follow! We even received a congratulations on our wedding card from the band! Their communication was superb, the music remarkable and we cannot recommend them more highly! Thank you Rejigged!"

"St Patrick's night at the Old Fire House Exeter was electric last night. The Extonions were well on form and had the place buzzing. Mac on his green electric fiddle raced away with jigs getting faster and faster, I'm surprised his fiddle didn't catch fire. Mike sang in his sexy Hank Marvin deep gravel voice with a lovely Irish twang. That got the ladies swooning. John swapped with ease from 6 to 12 string guitar and kept up a driving beat together with fingers flying over the strings to create a magical sound. James maintained the foundation of the band with solid bass. The place was so packed it was like how many people can you get in a telephone box, they just kept pouring in. There must have been hundreds at the gig. Feedback said it was the best St Patrick's venue in Exeter that night and greatly down to The Extonions. I highly recommend you don't miss their next gig."

So sorry for this late reply but we have been busy. We loved playing there although mature talented experienced musicians the younger audience went wild and like you said thought it was the best St Patrick's Night Exeter in Exeter. Mac 🙂 🎨 🎻

He did a great job - quite a comedian! Finally a big thanks to the band for welcoming our fiddle-playing friend Richard into their ranks for the evening. He said he had a fantastic time. What a great party band the guys make! I'm very happy to recommend them to anyone having a bash. "
