Review Centre: Barn Dance Bands

" We hired the Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio for a party, and we could not have been happier with their performance. The band’s admin team reached out prior to the event to make arrangements, and communication was maintained throughout. Set up was quick and efficient in the background of our event, and before we knew it, we were forming lines for our first Ceilidh. It was a mixed group in terms of experience, but Phil delivered clear instructions prior to each dance, and everyone quickly picked it up. The trio are all exceptionally skilled musicians, and the music throughout the dancing was fantastic. We booked two hours of dancing and found that to be the perfect amount of time post-dinner. Black Velvet Band created a fun and lively atmosphere at our event and the Ceilidh dancing was enjoyed by all. We will definitely be in contact with the band for future events and would recommend them to all."

"The Extonions played at our wedding in Somerset at the end of October and we cannot recommend them highly enough! They got everyone up on their feet and all our guests enjoyed dancing, clapping and tapping along! A very talented group of musicians and a must see! Thank you all so much."

"The musicians were fantastic (2nd November 2019 Saturday Fletchers Lea, Ware Priory, High Street, Ware, Hertfordshire SG12 9AL). Turned up when they said they would and were very accommodating. Margaret was great at encouraging the reticent and showing how to do the dances. Everyone had great fun and thoroughly enjoyed the experience of a ceilidh. "Barn With Us played at our school charity dinner last weekend and I am going to let the pupils do the talking: Vibrant; great company; made it a lot of fun; great singing and music; the callers explained everything really well and made sure everyone understood what they should do (the dance was demonstrated to me at this time!); lively; really good atmosphere; they were funny; great energy - you get the picture! Big thank you to Lilac, Remko and everyone else involved."
