"Dear Fiddlestix, We are back from honeymoon and have finally caught up with ourselves, and I just wanted to send you a (rather belated!) email to say a huge thank you to you and the ceilidh band for the fantastic playing at our wedding. Everything went really well and everyone really enjoyed the ceilidh - we've had loads of comments from our guests about how much fun it was (special thanks to the brilliant caller), and it got everyone up on the dance floor! "Just wanted to say a belated thank you for the fantastic job the band did for our wedding on 20th July at Enterkine. Everyone thought you were great and really enjoyed the dancing outside and the mix of music - we were all exhausted by the end! "Black Velvet Band Irish Trio came to play at our relaxed outdoor pre-wedding get together of about 40 people. The three who made up the band were great – very talented musicians – they played all our favourites as well as some wider material. They were very keen to fit in with what we wanted to hear and gauged the mood as to whether to sing ballads or play jigs (after a few drinks people were up for having a bit of a dance). It was such a joy to hear live music again after all these months of covid restrictions. The Band really made the evening and they were really lovely people."

"Rejigged at my 30th birthday party Thank you so much to Rejigged band who absolutely made our birthday party come to life - everyone left with beaming smiles on their faces. The caller had great energy and encouraged us all out onto the dance floor with good humour, even the shy ones got up and danced! The band were really organised and communicated well before the event. We had such fun stomping around the hall that we actually damaged the ceiling of the room below! Great range of tunes and dances, very jolly all round. Would recommend! Florence 14th March 2020 Chichester Hall Sandgate. "

"We had Blue Jewel Ceilidh Band come to perform at our wedding last week and they were simply amazing. With a wide range of ages, abilities and attitudes amongst our guests Blue Jewel had everybody up and involved. Simple to understand instructions and catchy music meant that even our most reluctant guests wanted to get involved. The Ceilidh was our favourite part of the wedding, non stop laughing and even an enjoyable workout! Thank you so much for such a fantastic time. Now to think of the next event we can book you for!!"

"We just wanted to say thank you to all the members of the band for playing at our wedding on 24/7/21. You were all so kind and friendly, and played such wonderful music throughout the evening. You were the perfect band for our laid-back, happy summer wedding and it was a pleasure to be able to sit down and listen to your songs. Both us and our guests really enjoyed being able to chill out and soak up the atmosphere with some great music being played. It was really nice to meet you and have a chat whilst we were having our fish and chips too. You were all so professional, and we really appreciated you coming to play at our wedding."

"They were absolutely brilliant. They really got everyone up on the dance floor and led the sets so that all the guests could really enjoy the dancing. We had a lot over from Canada and they still haven’t stopped telling us how much they enjoyed it. The Scots amongst us also appreciated how good they were and how hard they worked to ensure it was great fun. They helped make the wedding a very special and unforgettable day for Joseph and Amanda. "Words cannot describe how pleased we are about the exceptional entertainment provided by Dave, Mike and Gerry at our wedding in Durham. Their fantastic repertoire truly added a special and unique touch to our evening, and provided many of our guests from all corners the world a wonderful introduction to British folk music. Not to mention how patient and friendly their caller Dave was especially in teaching the dances to our guests, many of whom had never danced a Ceilidh before. In addition, their cheerfulness and easygoing disposition really helped us and our guests have a marvellous time. To this day, our guests still constantly praise the ceilidh music provided during the evening. Thank you so much and we would recommend them over and over again to anyone seeking quality entertainment for any event."
