"Davie, Nicky and I are just back from a trip up north and have only now got 'connected' to the outside world again. Just a wee note to thank you and the rest The Shooglers for an amazing ceilidh at our wedding at Lunga. We loved it and everyone else did too, more than a few folk took your cards and are trying to think of an excuse to have their own ceilidh and book you guys for it! We'll keep an eye on the local ceilidh clubs and if you’re playing in this part of the world again and we'll get ourselves along to it. Thanks again! "

"I've had the tremendous good fortune to have been asked to call ceilidh dances with Kellys on numerous occasions. It's never difficult to get people up on the dance floor once Helen kicks off on the accordion, and when Steve's driving rhythm guitar comes in, coupled with Tony's pounding bodhran, the only 'problem' is getting people to sit down and have a breather between dances! And when you get Simon and John bumping it up to a 5-piece with fiddle and banjo (plus various pipes and whistles) well, all I can say is "Hold on to your socks!""

"Well handled and so well played! Thank you for the excellent music and reels last Friday - we have had several thank you letters already saying how much people enjoyed it and what a hoot it was even though they realised they could not do it at all!! For many it was their first try and I hope not their last. We were just pleased they were happy to give it a go. I was so grateful you had the tact to realise what was required and not be insulted or frustrated by the lack of ability to follow your commands!"

"I recently booked a duo from the band to play at my mum’s wedding in Bolton. They were brilliant. I would recommend this group to anyone who wishes to make their wedding a special event and really liven up the evening. Don’t bother with a DJ, what a waste of money. There were only 40 people at the evening reception, but Shamus and Danny really livened up the group and got them up singing and dancing. I only wish I had another event up and coming, so I could book them again."

"I just wanted to send you a quick email to say we had a rip roaring old night at the Burns Supper last night and the band loved it themselves! We had a packed dance floor all night although it was a form of disorganised chaos for the most part but everyone had the time of their lives and are mad keen to come again!"

"Quick note to say a massive thank you for Saturday night in Northleach. After a slow start - I think there was a mixture of nervousness and a warm evening outside! - everyone had a fantastic time. I've had so many people saying that it's either been ages since they went to a Ceilidh or had never ceilidh'd before and they loved it. Lots of people passing on thanks to you and the band too - excellent stuff as usual. The caller (who's name I didn't catch) has been singled out for her patience! Another Ceilidh is definitely on the cards, though perhaps this time in the winter - I don't think I've sweated that much for years!"

"I found Rachel on this website and it was very smooth and easy to communicate with Rachel prior to her arrival to our anniversary party. We had a really great time and Rachel made all the folks very comfortable and the whole evening was brought into different dimension :) Rachel also learned a new song few days before our party so I was really over the moon. "If you're looking for a sign to book these guys, this is is!!! Lilac, Remko and the band were absolutely fantastic!! We got married in America then had a party back home to celebrate with friends and family. We did an American themed party and Barn With Us exceeded all of our expectations. We also chose the line dancing caller add on, this got people up on the dance floor and was so much fun. My little girl got to sing a little of Jolene with Lilac and absolutely made her year! "Sophie and I just wanted to thank you guys so much for keeping everyone entertained during our wedding day back in August, you managed to do exactly what we had wanted and did with such high spirits.Thanks also for being so accommodating all my little surprises like learning the music so that Samantha could sing the first song, and sorry for not having time to sing Kiss From A Rose.
