"I can’t fault the service provided by Last Minute Musicians. Constant contact all the way through, and beyond the booking date, thank you for your great customer service. BM Ceilidh were absolutely amazing and exactly what I wanted for the evening. We had in excess of 110 people attend with ages from 90 years young down over, the dance floor had a variety of ages joining in with Dave doing his best to keep everybody right - so much fun! Everybody had an amazing night, and I received nothing but positive feedback from the guests about the band. All in all a great evenings entertainment that has certainly added to the memory banks of all those who were there. I wouldn’t hesitate in booking the band for a future celebration, and would definitely recommend them - you won’t regret it ?"

"I booked this band for my daughter's wedding. They were approachable and professional, and many of our guests who had not previously attended a ceilidh highlighted how much they enjoyed the experience, also commenting on how the members of the band were happy to talk and answer questions from guests that approached them. I would highly recommend The Northern Reel Collective and I thank them once again for providing their services for what was a very special and memorable day."

We’ve had some fantastic feedback from the scholars and they all seemed to have a great time learning the different dances, and I think this was a very memorable way to round off the day for them. "The ceilidh went amazingly well! The dance floor was full all evening. I put it down to Eddy and Mike, who played tunes with such an exciting beat that you just couldn’t stay still. The caller was huge fun. I highly recommend the band."

"The Shooglers showed up and showed out for our wedding!! Everyone was raving about how fun the ceilidh was and my father in law is still talking about how the band was his favorite part of the day. "Lucy performed everything from our ceremony music to the evening and it was absolutely incredible and loved by all! Any request was never too much to do and her personal music we loved! "Hi Gordon, Just a quick note to say thank you again to you and the bands for the hard work at our wedding at Shortflatt Tower, I hope that we did not cause you too much stress with the slightly delayed schedule and the last-minute RSVP song-lists! The bands, both the ceilidh and the party band, sounded great and had people dancing which is all that we wanted. "We booked blue jewel for a 70th birthday party. I cannot recommend them enough. They were professional when setting up, great musicians, motivated everyone to join in. They played 2 good length sets and everyone at the party commented on how good they were. If your looking for a ceilidh band who are professional and will provide a good evenings fun for your special occasion, book blue jewel. Thank you for making our party extra special."

"The band were a great edition to our wedding party event. They arrived on time and had no issues setting up independently with minimal direction from us as hosts. They gave good directions in terms of getting us started with a first dance, and set the tone for the two sets they played perfectly – giving great instructions to the mostly complete novice crowd present, with a good dose of humour alongside. Everyone there from small children through to retirees was able to participate. I wouldn’t hesitate to book them again for a future event, or to recommend them to others."
