"Catherine performed at our launch night on Friday, 26 Feb and her voice is absolutely amazing. It was a small and intimate venue we had but she integrated really well with the audience ensuring they were up on their feet and having a great time. I would definitely use Catherine again for another gig as she has an infectious personality and is without doubt extremely talented."

"We had a small party with about 45 family and friends in an intimate Sheffield venue last weekend (November 2024) and Max provided the music and songs for us. All I can say is Max, you are a supremely talented young man. Your multi instrumental versions of classic new and old chart hits kept us entertained all evening and had us all up dancing and having a great time. You catered for our entire age range from the mid 20-something year olds through to those of us more familiar with partying back in the 1980s and 1990s and we all enjoyed it immensely. Topping it all off with a couple of Christmas chart smashes at the end was a really great finish which everyone loved. Thank you for a fantastic evening Max, you are a legend !!! Thank you also to Sarah-Jane and all of the Team at Last Minute Musicians, not only for securing our booking with Max, but for your impeccable service. You kept us fully informed throughout the process and made sure everything was just how we wanted it to be, all culminating in a great evenings entertainment. Thank you to you all !!"

"Fantastic band and photo booth!! Absolutely made the evening of our wedding, the 4 piece band created a fantastic atmosphere with a variety of music that everyone could enjoy and the photo booth was just the touch of fun we wanted for our guests. Couldn’t have wished for a better evening reception and would 100% recommend."

"Hi Anne, Sorry for my tardiness getting back to you! The past past 24 hours have been a bit of a whirlwind!!! The strings trio were fantastic! They did really well and the guests loved it. Especially the Jurassic park theme song actually!! I will definitely be watching the videos we've made of the day. It went by way too fast! So sad it's over. Thanks so much for the great tunes!! "Hi Aly, Just wanted to email to say what an amazing night we had at our wedding ceilidh. Everyone commented on what a fantastic, fun night they had. We knew it would get people up dancing but we couldn't believe how full the dance floor was! From people who had never been to a ceilidh, to our Scottish friends, everyone had the time of their lives! Thank you again, and also thank you for allowing us to use your PA system and lights. "I booked Black Velvet Ceilidh Trio for my wife’s 50th Birthday barn dance. The booking process and communication was great. On the night, from the off, everyone was up dancing. The instructions were great and they really got us all into the spirit. Lots of comments from our friends about how good they were. Thanks to all for an amazing night of music and dance. Would definitely recommend. "
