"Jim performed at our wedding and did a fantastic job. Not long after we booked, we asked to change the time and Jim was incredibly accommodating. All our guests really enjoyed his songs during our reception. Would 100% recommend."

"Fantastic! Big Skies got that outdoorsy, free and easy, country vibe just right. E eryone was singing along and we even braved the drizzle to dance along. Lovely, lovely people. Talented and professional. Glad we booked them for sure!"

"Wow, what a fantastic band. Everyone said they were definitely one of the best we have had at our events. The dance floor was packed throughout. The guys were great and communication throughout was spot on. Their set was one of the best we've had, there was something for everyone. Loved them and would definitely book again. Highly recommended. Thanks Again! "

"We had a great time ably assisted by the music and calling of the Black Velvet Ceilidh Band. Thank you so much! The band were very adaptable, as we changed the arrangement for the sets on the night, and reassured that they were there to entertain - which they certainly did. They got people up dancing from the first note to the last and many, many guests have commented how much they enjoyed the ceilidh."

"Black Velvet Band provided a five piece ceilidh band and caller for the finale of the Hawkins’ team building event. We thought the room would be too big – but we were wrong! The band brought an absolute gem of a caller, who read the crowd perfectly and the dance floor was full throughout the evening. We could have done with a larger space! The band was superb and the event was enjoyed by all concerned. I thoroughly recommend the band."
