"We booked "It Takes 2" back in January 2022 for Cleeve Prior village Queens Platinum Jubilee 50's evening. From beginning to end, Kelly and Graham were absolutely fantastic. I bombarded them with emails about set lists, how much power they would require etc etc and each and every time Kelly responded immediately with the answers. Being an organiser of the event and never using the band before, it was quite a responsibility in choosing our entertainment, I needn't have worried. They arrived early, were so professional and had everybody on the dancefloor from beginning to end. The 50's theme / set list, which I was worried wouldn't go down well, was absolutely fantastic. I have been congratulated on booking such a good band but it was all Kelly and Graham's doing, we look forward seeing them at future events and many people in the village are planning on using them, I honestly cannot thank them enough....!"

"We absolutely loved having Black Velvet Band play our wedding ceilidh at Clearwell Castle. My husband is from Scotland so we wanted a traditional Scottish ceilidh feel with some of the classics, and we were not disappointed! We had a good feeling about Black Velvet band from the moment we booked them - and sure enough, Mike and the guys were absolutely fantastic and made our evening party a huge success. The band were great and the instructions on the ceilidh dances were so helpful; even those of our party who may not have normally danced were up there loving life on the dancefloor. The fun and friendly atmosphere they created was just fab and so different from your ‘usual’ evening do. All our guests commented on how much they enjoyed the ceilidh and some said it was the best wedding they had ever been to. We would 100% book the band again and recommend them to friends. "Steve, Geoff and Absolute Band were brilliant to deal with from start to finish. Really friendly people, superb musicians and ensured our dancefloor was busy all night. "We first saw Kelly and Graham on a cruise to the Caribbean early 2023 and their nightly shows were always worth a trip to the top deck. Graham's guitar solo night was the highlight of the 43 days we spent together. Kelly's voice lends itself to any song and her bubbly personality and time for a chat make these two always watching and listening to. "

"We’d like to extend a huge thank you to It’s No’ Reel who performed at our wedding and helped make the evening party really amazing. The band sounded fantastic and were really professional and managed to put on exactly the type of ceilidh we hoped for – one where the guests got to have a wee break in between every couple of songs while they kept the evening going until we had a chance to recover! We had lots of great feedback from our guests about how amazing the band were and how well they managed to explain each of the ceilidh dances for those that had never done it before. This was really excellent as a big worry of ours before the wedding was that some of our guests who had never ceilidh danced before might not take part for fear of not knowing what to do but we’ve since seen the photos and managed to confirm that pretty much every single guest made it onto the dance floor! The fact that the dance floor remained pretty packed all evening too is another amazing achievement and a testament to how great a job the band did. We will definitely recommend It’s No’ Reel to anybody in need of a great ceilidh band as they were absolutely superb! Many thanks again for making our special day so awesome!"

"Danny and Catherine played at our wedding a few weeks ago, and I cannot recommend them enough. They play a great range of songs, tailored to your preferences, are great fun, and worked the audience magnificently, getting everyone dancing from the three year-olds to the seventy three year-olds. Before booking, I checked out the clips on you-tube, and compared them with lots of other bands, and no-one else came close. They lived up to, and surpassed, our expectations. "I booked The Haystacks Band for my 50th Birthday Party as I wanted live music that would get everyone dancing! Rachel and her band did not disappoint and we had an amazing evening; I cannot recommend them highly enough! They helped create a great atmosphere and were genuinely lovely people to have at the party. I had taken a bit of a risk in booking the band without seeing them perform but I needn't have worried! From the first contact I had with Rachel, through to evening itself, I had every confidence that they were going to be as good as I'd hoped. The Haystacks Band play fun, upbeat music with passion and an unassuming enthusiasm. Everyone at my party has been telling me how much they enjoyed the band and they definitely made it a 50th to remember. Lovely people and fab musicians who were a fabulous find online!"
