"Having Rob Shaw play at our wedding was truly beautiful. He exceeded our expectations in every way and worked with us to make our day unique and special. Guests complemented the romantic atmosphere created by Rob from arrival and during the wedding breakfast. Nothing was ever too much for Rob and his friendly and flexible approach allowed us to select a set of instrumental music that was classic and modern. A real bonus as our guests have such varying music tastes so there really was something for everyone. Rob is a truly talented guitarist and we would highly recommend to anyone wanting to make their wedding or event magical."

"Thanks so much for all you did on the day. The music you played was excellent. We particularly remember everyone dancing and singing along to "Sit Down" by James. Thanks also for coming earlier than originally agreed and playing all of our own music. It really made a difference knowing that was taken care of and that we were able to have extra music through your sound system. It really made the evening even better."

"Valeria played at a recent client event at the Tate Britain. She was exactly what we needed for the evening, communicated well ahead of the event and really helped add flare to the party. Professional and a very talented musician, would recommend and book again."

"Will was absolutely wonderful. He really made our day. He played as I was walking down the aisle, signing the register and walking back down the aisle as a married couple. He played an acoustic set for us as we were having our reception drinks. All our guests loved him, his selection of music was perfect and so well judged for our guests. He is extremely professional and was very quick to respond when I had questions. He sent us some taster videos of our ceremony songs. We can't recommend him enough. If we could give 20/10 we would! Thank you Will "

"Our Wedding guests loved EM Strings. They played beautifully during the intimate ceremony and again for the drinks reception afterwards. They were the highlight of my day and brought much joy to the atmosphere, including dressing the part for our very special day. I fell in love with the group from the start because of their unique repertoire and they did not disappoint!"

I bumped into one of dads friends yesterday who said it was the best party he and his wife had been to in years and they particularly mentioned you and how fantastic you were. I think what was really great was that you pitched it just right for the occasion. We really wanted the day to be for my dad, about my dad and for his friends and family that are of a similar generation and your contribution was perfect. "James and I just wanted to say a big thank you to you for coming all the way down to Creeksea Place to play for us at our wedding. You played beautifully and so many guests commented on what a lovely idea it was and how moved they were hearing you play. I remember first hearing you play as I made my way round the outside of the walled garden with my Dad. I said to my Dad, ‘I think I am going to cry’ as I got so caught up in the emotion of it all. I managed to hold it together as we walked down the aisle! The day went so quickly for James and I. There were so many things to see and so many people to chat too, in such a short space of time. We cannot wait to see the video to live it all again and catch up on anything we missed."

"Dorchester Strings were incredible! They played beautifully during our drinks receptions, where is was so lovely to have them playing in the background. They mostly played modern music, that we had requested, so many guests commented saying it was like Bridgerton! Hearing them play was one of the highlights of our day, the only downside was we should have had them for longer as we had to go away for photos during part of our drinks receptions. We would highly recommend Dorchester Strings for any event and perfect for any wedding! "

"We found Camille a short while before our big day as we decided on live music for our sit down meal instead of a playlist. This was one of the best decisions we made for our big day. From start to finish Camille was super friendly, professional and kind. Most of all, she listened. She took the time to get to know us a couple and the vision we had for the day. It felt like we knew her before the big day came around. When it came to the sit down meal, Camille was attentive to the mood. We had a young child at the wedding who was getting a bit restless so Camille simply adjusted the volume of the backing track and her microphone and continued like it was nothing. So many of our guests were complimenting Camille’s vocals: these sound EVEN better in person. I’ll always remember dancing into the room to Camille’s vocals with my new hubby on my arm and catching a moment across the room with Camille whilst singing away to the music. Thank you for everything 🤍"
