"Dear Rachel, I am sorry that I did not get to meet, greet , say thank you and goodbye to the quartet. The beginning of the day did not quite go as planned which led to a follow on of change in plans. This left us somewhat disconcerted and by the time we got to the library I think the allocated time for yourselves had elapsed. The music upstairs was beautiful and the guests I spoke to after told me that the music that you kindly played downstairs was wonderful. Leah really loved her entrance music which meant a lot to her. "The woman is always smiling. Her manners are as impeccable as her speech is eloquent and articulate. Where there was chit-chat, all of a sudden, there was silence. She had gripped the audience and she now owned them. It was as if she had us all mesmerised. It was as if she had made the universe stop so she could sing especially for you, the individual. It was one of the most intimate performances I'd seen in my life, yet I was behind a bar in a room full of people. Her voice is flawless as her beauty and guitar playing, and if you listen to her recordings they are amazing, but live? Live is an experience that you could not get any other way other than to see her for yourself. There is something about this performer that is special. Sam Lyon is a phenomenon. And I hope you enjoy watching her play as much as I do."

"Ollie was Great, great fella, was able to take song requests in advance. Got my party singing and dancing. Only one problem I should have booked him for longer than 2 x 45 min sessions he was brilliant. Everyone was asking how I got to know about Ollie he was so good. Thanks Ollie for making our joint birthday party fantastic. I would recommend Ollie. "

"I recently organised a surprise 40th birthday barn dance for my wife’s 40th birthday. Kip whom I was in contact with prior to the event was helpful and a breeze to deal with and when it came to the event itself Kip and the band were absolutely amazing! Thank you so much the three of you, you really made it a fun, hilarious and quality evening that we will always remember. So many people who’d never been to a barn dance have since said to me they are converts, and those that already had experience of ceilidhs extolled your virtues too. These things can hinge on the caller and Kip gauged the crowd perfectly - really making sure we all had a fantastic evening. Thank you so much again, would not hesitate to recommend or book again. Please let us know when you play at Plympton Guildhall next, we will definitely be there. Best Greg"

"VWGC performed at our wedding in Chichester in December 2021! The whole performance was absolutely perfect, including the surprise entry at the end of our ceremony that delightfully surprised our guests exactly as we planned! Tim was a pleasure to deal with and was a true professional with the planning in the run up to the big day! I would highly recommend VWGC for any occasion!!"

"I just wanted to let you know what a great success last night was & both The Duke & Duchess were very pleased with the group Los Gitanos Kings that came to play here at Alnwick Castle. I should be grateful if you could pass on my thanks to Chris, Keith, Carlos & Lester for making the journey up north & I only hope they were not too tired after having such an early start this morning. Also I am sorry that I never got the opportunity of thanking them in person - it was only after they had left the Castle that I was informed they had actually gone.    From what The Duchess said this morning she is certain that we will be asking Los Gitanos Kings to return again to Alnwick in the foreseeable future."
