"We've been following The Good Citizens since seeing them at a wedding fayre at Cedar Court Hotel back in 2016. We've been to a fair few gigs of theirs & even hired them for a private family party to perform & DJ for us!! As soon as we had set our date for our wedding there was no question of a doubt we wanted TGC to perform. They were so professional & understanding when we had to reschedule our wedding due to Covid. They even went that extra mile to learn and perform our 1st dance song, something neither of us will ever forget!! We had so many compliments from our guests about how good & diverse they were! We can't recommend TGC enough!! Music for the people!! See you all very soon at another gig, we can't wait 😀 The Newly Married Mr & Mrs Cowman 😉"

"Louise is absolutely brilliant! She performed at both our civil ceremony last year and our big wedding celebration this year. Her communication was excellent, ensuring every detail was covered well in advance, which put our minds at ease. She went out of her way to learn a song for our wedding processional which was so thoughtful and excellently executed. She read the room in real time and played songs that fit the vibe. She is an incredibly talented cellist and added such a special touch to our celebrations. Highly recommend hiring her for your next event! Thank you again, Louise Xx - M & R"

"We used Carlos for our friends 40th. We couldn’t have asked for much more. He arrived well in time and even stayed longer than asked due to the birthday boy being late! His first set he welcomed guest into the venue playing upbeat songs, then as the evening progressed he came inside and played alongside the DJ and everyone LOVED IT. We let him do his own thing and judge the room and so glad we did. Definitely recommend x "

"The Dance Collective provided a fantastic edge to our evening event. The performance was outstanding, not only was everyone up dancing from the very first song, they kept everyone on the dance floor with a plethora of hits, which left everyone wanting more. The Dance Collective even had more than a little help from the audience who couldn't help but sing along!!! The bands' punctuality, was second to none, there were no interruptions / disruptions during our dinner whilst they were setting up, once ready, before my eyes, the final crumbs of desserts were forgotten, wine glasses replenished, and everyone had abandoned the dining tables ready to hit the dance floor. Personally I could not fault the communication between myself as the organiser of the event and The Dance Collective, but also the dialogue between the band and the venue itself, all parties were kept fully abreast of the timing's of the sets, as well as anything else we were to expect. Lastly I can not comment enough on the professionalism which I had the pleasure to encounter during this event, it made organising the event far less stressful! A cracking evening, which people are still talking about! - I'm hoping for another excuse to book The Dance Collective band again!"

"James is an incredibly talented musician, a one man band, with the impact of a group. His repertoire is extensive, lots of choice meant we could cater to a broad demographic of party guests. We had lots and lots of compliments at the birthday party we threw for my Dad, people were blown away with his talent and unique approach to music. We would 100% book again, James is trustworthy, polite and a pleasure to have around. We would highly recommend James to anyone looking to book, he won't disappoint. Thank you for making our event so special James. "

From the professional and helpful planning by Rachel before our big day to the whole ensemble playing brilliantly before, during and after our service.
