"We booked The Players after seeing them at our friend's wedding last year. Really lovely people, great musicians, great voice! All the guests thoroughly enjoyed the band. Good mix of music for all ages but without all the typical cheesy wedding songs (which was a must for us!) They did a fantastic version of 'just like heaven' by The Cure for our first dance - we loved it! Thanks for helping to make our day so special x"

"Ok…It has taken me far too long to write this. I confess I’m forgetful. However, one thing I haven’t and won’t forget is how incredible these guys are. House of Chords are fantastic. Honestly. We booked them at quite late notice (far later than I was comfortable with because my hubby to be was being very picky about the sound he wanted). We loved that they have an eclectic repertoire and weren’t afraid to ditch the “really popular songs” from their set list in order to accommodate our tastes (there are a few songs we feel are way overplayed at weddings). On the day, they set up smoothly and were quick to introduce themselves to us in person. We had a decidedly uncommon first song choice (Walking on the Waves by Skippinish) and unfazed they found it for us. After this from a recording they kicked into a live set for which I don’t remember there ever being an empty dance floor. From the moment they picked up their instruments to the moment they put them down people were up and dancing, singing along and having fun. You can tell the band love what they do and their enthusiasm is infectious. As the live set wrapped up and we moved into the DJ-ing section of the night, the party songs came out and I distinctly remember a group of our guests teaching the band the cheesy dance routine for “Saturday Night”. I honestly cannot recommend these guys enough. Incredible band, great readers of group mood, infectious energy. Book them – you won’t regret it."

"We booked Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio for a sixtieth birthday party. Very much a family event, so all ages including children, who particularly enjoyed it, although everyone had a really great time. One of the parents told me that her little one has decided that a ceilidh is the very best kind of birthday party, so the bar was set high for all future birthdays there! A few people knew the dances already, but most didn’t, and our caller guided us through each dance so that everyone could join in the fun! The atmosphere was lovely, and the musicians were impressive, plus really lovely people who were accommodating, helpful and great fun. I would definitely recommend them; they were fantastic, and the whole evening was an absolute joy. The only thing now is to find a good reason to do it all again!"

"Andy was the most natural showman we've had in our club in 20 New Years. I can't speak too highly of him. A brilliant and engaging act, he had even the most curmudgeonly of stalwarts shaking their things before midnight. We can't wait to have him back here. A rare and genuine talent. "Sending you and The Carabana Steel Band members a very big thank for playing at the company’s Caribbean Event. You all added the special Caribbean touch to the evening, which was loved by all who attended the evening. The tunes and different melodies of rhythms was totally outstanding, the feedback has been extremely breath taking [Amazing, Fantastic, so Diverse with the tunes, an amazing trio] We are going to carry on practising our Limbo technique. Lol.. Once again thank you all."

"Sam and his team were absolutely FANTASTIC! I am not one to take recommendations especially for a function the size I had but i am so so glad i did for REVOLVE. I received so many compliments from attendees on how much having a live band had a hugely positive impact on their experience of the evening and also just.how.good! Sam and his band were. Everything was smooth sailing. Initial communication to discuss the setup was easy. Sam always replied to my emails, text in quick time which I allowed me to put all the prep in place. I have experience previously with booking bands and believe me this is by a long way the best communication I have ever had. Fees were outstanding for the value we got back. Sam and his team set up all their equipment and generally were at ease and cracked on with everything. I genuinely cannot get across fully how much i enjoyed working with Sam and his team. We hold this function yearly and i will have REVOLVE back in a heartbeat! Additionally, i am hoping we will hold a summer function - if we do, REVOLVE will be no.1 on the list to come back. "The Northern Reel Collective played at our wedding in August 2018 and were absolutely exceptional. I had so many people say to me on the night and afterwards how brilliant they were. We requested to start with everyone together, rather than a traditional first dance, and they made it work perfectly. The caller was fantastic and so engaged with the audience - even getting off stage to demonstrate. It was 32 degrees during the day but people still wanted to keep dancing - at other ceilidhs I've been to guests have given up and not danced much. We provided a playlist for after and they put it together so everything flowed nicely and honestly we just had the best time! I highly highly recommend them (and have literally been telling newly engaged strangers to look them up!)"

"If you're looking for a band that keeps your guests entertained and on the dance floor, I highly recommend Grupo Carnival. They played a mix of funk, soul and Latin-inspired tunes that had everyone dancing all night. Their incorporation of Brazilian music was a nice touch which added an extra layer of fun and was original. The band know how to create a fun and vibey atmosphere and they were a pleasure to work with. Overall, I would definitely recommend Grupo Carnival for anyone in search of a wedding band that can deliver great music and a fun night. They made our special day a memorable one. "

"The Royal Buzz did a great job at the wedding we hired them to play at. They were also very communicative and willing to play any kind of songs. On the night of the wedding we were delayed and changed up the timing and sets completely and they were very flexible and willing to make changes which we appreciated. The music and energy was great - would definitely recommmend."

"Booked these guys for my wedding and they were epic. They even learnt our song as the first dance especially for us. They have a really strong repertoire that keeps the crowd entertained throughout because there’s music for everyone to enjoy. They also have a sound engineer included in the price that makes sure the band sound projects exactly as it should in each venue space. They did 3 x 40 minute sets for us and it built up towards the last set which felt like a club/festival when they played You Got The Love. They left their sound system up for another hour after they’d finished too so the party could go on until midnight. They didn’t rush off when they finished and they were all really nice people and easy going. All the guests have said how amazing they were so big thanks to you guys! Could not recommend them enough, you’re missing out if you don’t book Groove Allstars Pat & Sarah, Wedding at Runa Farm – 2nd December 2023 "

"A Vintage singer who sings through many decades of music! 20's, 30's, 40's, 50's and modern day songs with a vintage jazzy twist! Ms Holiday really sings true to the 1940's style and would have been a world wide star if she was around at the time. It's not just her voice that takes you back in time, she really puts in the effort with her Victory Roll hairstyle and her wide range of attire to complete the look! A must have vocalist at any Vintage Event."
