"Jaya and Sarah played at our church wedding on the 29th August 2015. They were perfect. All our guests commented on how lovely there music was and how talented they both our. They are both really nice people too and put up with me emailing countless questions before our big day. They played every song that we wanted and more. I cannot reccommend the chapel hill duo enough. Just amazing thankyou so much guys. x"

"Rachel entertained us at our WI Group meeting - we had a really wonderful evening she immediately set everybody at ease with her lovely warm personality. She sang beautifully to a mixed age group choosing from a wide range of songs - classical/ musical and modern. She even managed several requests as well. I would certainly have no hesitation in recommending Rachel to sing at other WI events or to any of my friends. A big thank you Rachel. "

" This is the third year we have had the pleasure of Black Velvet Band providing our entertainment for Burns Night. Once again it was an absolutely fantastic night had by all, with everyone thoroughly enjoying the dancing. Great explanations throughout and lots of fun. "Thank you for making our wedding reception so memorable. Without exception all our guests thought you were amazing. We struck gold finding you. Totally fitted in with our chilled out, intimate wedding, good-time atmosphere. In fact added so much to it. Thanks for fulfilling all our requests and for completely exceeding all our expectations. Favourite moments have to be Sweet Child o Mine and Sit Down. Thankfully you weren’t put off by our over enthusiastic “singing” and “dancing”! An all round very capable, dynamic and very friendly wedding duo who managed to cope with our rather chaotic celebrations. Our only disappointment was that it all had to end! I’ve never known an acoustic wedding band have to do an encore before. You’re lucky the guests actually let you leave! We’ll definitely be hoping to see you again soon. Thanks again."
