""We booked Swing Gitan for our wedding and we couldn't have been happier with their performance. We found them online, then went to see them perform in Nottingham - we can honestly say their website does not do them justice; they are incredible musicians. We knew they would be perfect for our big day. Elliott was really friendly and easy to deal with, and we felt he understood exactly the tone we wanted to set - summer sun/cocktails/chilled vibe for our drinks reception and something more upbeat for later in the evening. They certainly didn't disappoint on the actual day, and many of our wedding guests told us how much they loved the band. We would be happy to recommend them to anyone. Claire&Dom" "

"Thanks so much for doing the Ceilidh Everyone said they really enjoyed it and it was a first for most of them, they had so much fun and laughed a lot You were amazing turning up on time, setting up and playing, leaving me free to get the hall organised and enjoy my big day! "The absolute best group you could ever have at your wedding. Lilac and Remko are musical masterminds and they helped our wedding be the biggest party in town. You have to book them! Lilac and Remko rock! Absolutely one of the highlights of our day was seeing a kick-ass 8 piece get the whole room dancing to our Motown-inspired playlist. They helped with curation to ensure we picked the right floor-fillers and chucked in a couple of modern classics and a vocal cameo from one of our guests in, too. We really can't recommend them enough. Everything was smooth and our day was honestly even better because of them."

"Just a quick note to thank you to you and the band for all your work towards Saturday evening at Chawton Ball. You were prompt and flexible, particularly when our start timings shifted a bit! As I mentioned, there was quite a bit at stake and usual high expectations from the band – and you definitely pulled it off: the dance floor was fit to burst and everyone begged for more! Thanks for creating a playlist for us, too and patiently dealing with the quirks of working with volunteers. Overall the evening was a success (and that’s a huge relief!)."

"May I just start by saying thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for making our day truly magical. I could hear you playing whilst I was waiting to enter the room all the songs I had requested, my walk in music was everything I had hoped for and the wonderful world you played whilst I signed the register still gives me goosebumps when I think about it. The guests loved you playing up beat numbers like queen during our afternoon tea (I think you could tell by all the singing going on) and then to carry on with an encore at the end was just brilliant ! I will make sure to recommend you to anybody I know getting married or having a special occasion. We hope to cross paths with you all again one day. Thank you thank you THANK YOU!"

"After Dark played last night at my 50th Birthday Party. They were absolutely fantastic, all the guests commented on how good they were. Have no worries these guys can play and sing. Everything was first class. Thanks for making my party so memorable we all had a great time!"

"We had the best wedding and cannot recommend this band highly enough! The dance floor was busy all night long and any song requested was straight on. My sister had actually requested a song a few days before the wedding for my little nephew and it was on for him and made his night! We had the ceilidh section too which was amazing as well as the sax and everyone is still raving about how good the band were. Thank you so much again for a memorable night. Lots of love"

Rachel was on time, setup all her equipment without any fuss (a blessing on a day when we had a million things to organise) and put on a fantastic show that really made our day special. "Wedding Rose & Crown Hotel, Essex (October 2022). Kirsty was the DJ for our wedding and was amazing from start to finish! We had a call with her a few weeks before the event to go through what would happen on the night and some of our choices. On the day, she got set up really quickly and put together a brilliant performance. She mixed in our songs with some inspired choices of her own and it all flowed so smoothly. So happy we went with Kirsty and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding DJ!"
