"Huge thanks to the band who played at our wedding in September at Rudby Hall! They were great from start to finish. They covered our first dance brilliantly and from then on the dance floor was full! The band knew exactly how to get the party going and we didn’t want it to end! All of our guests have commented on how much they loved the band too! Thank you! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a band for their wedding or other event!"

Kept people dancing while not being overpowering and adjusted to late timing changes without difficulty. True pros and superstars.Thank you"

"Thank you all for helping us to make the Love Ball a success. You were Brilliant - perfect music for the occasion and just so tight musically. Apologies for the table moving issue. It wasn't the plan to clear everyone out before the dancing but we'll be on that one next time! I've had great feedback about the band from dancers, non dancers and even people who weren't at the event. News spreads and that is exactly what we want. Thank you also for accommodating the change of date and our requirements 're deposits etc! "

Your calling of the dances was excellent and you succeeded in getting lots of folk on to the dance floor. Many had never been to a ceilidh before, but you made it so easy for them to understand the steps. It was a super evening from start to finish and much fun was had by all. "Shakers Gold were AMAZING at our wedding; we couldn't have asked for more. They kept everyone dancing all night and so many guests commented on how fantastic the band were. As newly weds, we have loved looking back at the pics of everyone having such a good time and dancing the night away! The defining moment was definitely when my husband and I found each other on the dance floor for Shakers Gold final (sob!) number, Mr Brightside. Lots of jumping and hugging ensued; it was a fab way to end the night, as guests shouted 'more'! Shakers Gold.. you. are. brilliant!"
