I live Eastbourne and saw last year’s 60s show and this year’s 60s and 70s show at the Bandstand, and I always come away ”buzzing” from your shows. I have always followed music from that era. "I hope that you are both well. Just thought I’d send a quick e mail about the Whittington Charity Ball last night which The Night We Met played at. They were amazing, the people loved them and I’ve had so much feedback over the course of the day just saying how much they enjoyed them, the set list, everything. Thanks Joel for letting me change the set timings too, that really helped. I’m just working out if I can physically put on another event for 2024 but if I can, I'd love it if you would consider playing for us again."

"We hired Unwritten Duo to perform at a Private house/Garden Party for my parents wedding anniversary. She turned up on time with all her own gear, set up without fuss, and was really professional. She did 2 sets, interacted with guests and reacted to the audience, mood well and really made the party. Excellent singer and vocals with a brilliant personality. Definitely recommend her and will consider using her again. Andy Moore "

"On behalf of Royal Air Force Coningsby Warrant Officer and Sergeant’s Mess, I would like to thank you again for your outstanding performance at our Summer Ball on 26 July. The Bandeoke experience contributed hugely to the success of the evening which was enjoyed by all who attended, many commenting that it had been the best Ball for over 20 years. "We are so delighted with The Electric Lights performance at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel! We could not have picked a better band. They were very entertaining and always had people on the dance floor! The lead singer interacted with us during the show, they even wore masks of the groom’s face which was really funny! Our guests did not want them to stop. Thank you so very much for a wonderful performance!!"

"A huge thank-you for a wonderful night's music at my 60th birthday party. Such an amazing customised personalised set, which not only set the perfect atmosphere for the night, but got all generations up on the dance floor. It was amazing to see a rock & roll band turn into a trad Jazz band by bringing in friends on other instruments. The in-house arrangements were just phenomenal. To hear Floyd's 'Wish You were here' accompanied by banjo was so unexpected but worked perfectly! The standard four piece party numbers were, as always, absolutely brilliant. This night was very special and will never be forgotten"

"Chris and Jake traveled down to my hometown in Bradford on Avon to play at our wedding over Easter. We had spotted them at the Manchester Gin Festival last year and when we got engaged shortly afterwards knew we had to try and find them. They played a great set, the guests really enjoyed their music and our in laws are fancying them for their 60ths next year! We can't thank them enough for travelling all that way and making our day perfect! Thank you again!"

"Duncan and I just wanted to send a belated but enormous THANK YOU, for making our wedding on 11 May so special! The band was amazing, and our guests absolutely loved the ceilidh! It was such a privilege to have such great musicians playing, and people were particularly glad to have such a good caller as a lot of our guests didn't know the dances. Also thanks for being so relaxed and easy to deal with in the run up to the day, you guys were a dream. "

"I felt I must write and express my admiration for your wonderful band which played so well at our Wedding on Monday at Prestonfield House Hotel. You had gone to so much trouble to play Israeli music and to find those two girls was a stroke of genius. Alison was a terrific compere and I thought that everyone picked up the dances so quickly and so well. It was amazing how the Scottish and Jewish dances blended in so well together. Many, Many thanks to you all."
