"We were delighted with the Black Velvet Bank Ceilidh Trio. The music was excellent and the guidance on how to do the dancing was just right as we had a mixture of people, some with a little experience, others with no experience."

"Best decision I made was hiring Chris for my son's 18th Party (at the last minute). Everyone was up dancing and we all had a great time. Chris is a great singer/musician and very professional, I would book him again no question! "

"We had a fantastic joint 30th birthday party for 60 people and the Black Velvet Ceilidh Band did an amazing job of making the evening a huge success! Mike gave me a call a couple of weeks prior to the event to confirm all arrangements such as timings, location, numbers, and the experience of the party goers (very mixed - lots of complete beginners). Mike was really enthusiastic on the phone and I felt very confident all was going to go well. At the beginning of the evening, we were pretty disorganized and neither James or I were there to meet the band on arrival, but our friend saw them into the venue and they were very flexible and happy to go with the flow and got set up really quickly. The whole band were keen to help and happily agreed to start the ceilidh a little later than planned, as well as letting me use the mic to make announcements! The 2 x 1 hour sets of ceilidh dancing were amazing and both the calling and music were fantastic - our guests absolutely loved every moment of it and have all said how much they enjoyed the music and dancing. Thank you very much to the whole band for an excellent evening, we would recommend you to anyone! "

"The Pocket Rockers were amazing for our wedding in September 2024! We had seen them perform at a few different events previously and so knew how great the shows they put on are, and we are so happy that we chose them for our special day! Their setlist has something for everyone, and we had so many people up on the dancefloor enjoying the night! The whole process from booking them to the wedding itself was communicative and smooth, and we are very grateful, we can't recommend them enough!"

"Good communications during the planning of the wedding music, we had to make a couple of last minute changes, nothing drastic, but these were accommodated without any issues. Although, as the bride, I missed out on the largest percentage of the music at the start, what I did hear was very professionally performed. We were both very pleased with the service received."

"We had the T Tones for our wedding band. They were absolutely amazing and entertaining. They had everybody up dancing (all generations) and really created a fun atmosphere. We had so many comments on the band. The lead singer has some fantastic dance moves and a superb voice!! A great band that topped off our unforgettable day! "I booked the group Jazzman for my Birthday party - The entire process from reviewing the band online & listening to their clips, booking with Sarah & her team and the actual entertainment delivered on the day was second to none. Nik the band leader was courteous and very helpful throughout the day...his singing & the band dynamics were excellent and all of my family & friends had a memorable day. Many thanks to Last Minute Musicians whom I will be using again. Great Job!"

"Fantastic band who really got the wedding party going. Everything pre wedding was arranged smoothly and plenty of scope to choose songs from the provided playlist. The guys turned up on time and mixed well with the guests before and after sets. Music and vocals were excellent and everyone felt they went out of their way to make it a special day for Julia and me, as well as our family and friends. Would highly recommend! "

"Having Georgia and her accompanist at our opening for Wool Yorkshire in the Victoria Quarter, Leeds really made the event come to life. The event was highly prestigious with support from Harvey Nichols and Campaign for Wool, so we needed someone who could deliver a high quality professional performance. This Georgia did highly effectively and our communication with her was at all times professional and clear!"
