Review Centre: 1970s & 80s Style Bands

"After not having much luck finding the perfect band for our wedding, we came across Indigo Charm. They were so incredibly helpful in suggesting some bands and one fit the bill perfectly (Indigo Charm). Rhona's communication and help prior to the wedding was absolutely faultless and soon put our mind to rest about the booking. Chatting to Rhona in the run up to the big day, made me so excited to hear Indigo Charm play, she knew exactly what we were after. Hearing them on the night was better than anything we could have imagined, it was like a very intimate concert and by the end of the night, every person was on the dance floor; we did not leave it all night! "

"It all went wonderfully . The band were professional , friendly and great performers from start to finish . We really enjoyed having them and hopefully they enjoyed the day too . They got people dancing and the music was varied and upbeat which is what I asked for . There were 4 generations at the party and the music catered for all . ( I did stop my step grandaughter and her friends trying to change the between sets music to rap ... so all was good , but we did have to submit to some of it at 1 a.m . ). The band members were all friendly and approachable and they were fantastic . Alison .. would recommend and have them again x"

"Big thank you to Funk Federation for their set on our Wedding day, absolutely brilliant. Two great sets and the dance floor demanding more! Great selection of songs, great fun, really made the evening exactly what we hoped. Very considerate to our requirements with great communication and organisation around our non-standard setup. "Straight Up not only had the dance floor packed all night, but the whole area around the dance floor too! Jeremy has an unbelievable voice and performance style - it feels wrong to describe them as a wedding band because they are just an incredibly talented group of musicians who happen to be able to sing brilliant covers with their own stamp. They were also an absolute delight to deal with throughout and took the 1.5 hour delay in starting as a result of dinner overrunning in their stride. Thank you for making our wedding day so special, and for giving us so many wonderful memories. "

"Gary stepped in at the last minute to play at an impromptu dinner at our officers mess in Windsor. How he remembers all the music spanning five or six decades is beyond me. Perhaps he has taken the Mega Memory course? Then there are the lyrics. Even I knew many of them though because he chose songs everyone liked and could sing and dance to. If you want a rubbish time, book someone else!"

"We just wanted to drop you a quick message to thank the band for doing such a great job at our wedding reception. The guys were friendly, fun and professional. The version of "Nothing Else Matters" that they played for our first dance was perfect and the rest of the evenings song choices were spot on...everybody had a brilliant time.We had so many compliments on the band and everybody was commenting how good they were. We have a relative getting married next year and she was particularly interested so obviously we will pass on your contact details to her. We had a great night and so did our guests and we hope that the guys in the band did too."

"Having heard The RockPins at a friend's wedding and seeing the atmosphere they created we knew that as soon as we were looking for a band for our work Christmas party The RockPins were the band for us. All communication from Matt was so friendly and professional and gave us all the information we needed. On the night of the party, they set up and sound checked, bringing everything they needed with them. We had a brief discussion about the playlist for the night, number of sets but I was more than happy to leave it to their professional judgement. The dance floor was never empty and everyone was singing along. Having The RockPins at our party made the night and the whole team send their compliments. Thank you Matt and the Band!"
