"Dealing with Shakers Gold was an absolute pleasure – at every stage. They responded to any query quickly and efficiently (which certainly set them apart from other bands we investigated). They kept in contact all the way through from booking to the event. Their website demonstrates how seriously Chris and the others take their business. On the night they arrived, set up with no fuss, put on an amazing performance, played the music we wanted to hear in between their sets and made our ‘wedding do’ the ‘party’ we had wished for. "This has to be the best band and singers we have ever had on in 15 years of me running Chapel. They were stunning and lovely guys too. They arrived three hours early due to doing a gig in Bristol the night before, so my sound tech, who they rang, came all the way in so they could drop off their kit and spend sometime in the green room having lunch and a beer. "James and the band were brilliant, and we are so glad we booked them for our wedding celebration. James was really helpful in the lead up to the day: getting in touch, making sure we were aligned on the schedule and following up with a clear plan. The band on the day were excellent - they performed a great selection of music played during our canapés, dinner and then dancing. Our guests loved the music, they were all on the dance floor even though we had a relatively small crowd! The band also learned a first dance song for us (Elvis Presley - The Wonder of You) and they performed it perfectly for us on the day! Thanks so much James & the band!"

"The Confidential played at a corporate function which I organised for a company celebrating 15 years of business. They hit the tone of the evening spot on, playing music that complemented the event and added great atmosphere. Chris and Lottie were a valued addition to the evening and I would definitely hire them again and also recommend them to anyone else needing a duo/band for a corporate event."
