"We were thrilled with the music! (On the 15th of May 2015 at Oxenfoord Castle). We thought you guys did a fantastic job during the ceremony. We have had a chance to look back at some of the videos and the pieces that we asked you to learn sounded great (2 new arrangements of Irish folk pieces). Unfortunately we missed most of the music during the drinks reception due having photos taken, but we spoke to lots of guests who all said the music was brilliant.  And I believe a few of the Canadian’s were trying to pressure you into staying longer – sorry about that!  Overall we had a great day, and we think our guests did too, and you and your players were a big part of that, so we’d like to thank you for your great effort."

"So many of our guests commented on how good Sheldon and his band were on the day. They played at my brothers wake which we knew would be a difficult occasion but they were so professional. Sheldon was very accommodating in fitting in all the songs we requested. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Sheldon and his band. Thank you again for your excellent performance on such a difficult occasion"

"Fantastic band and photo booth!! Absolutely made the evening of our wedding, the 4 piece band created a fantastic atmosphere with a variety of music that everyone could enjoy and the photo booth was just the touch of fun we wanted for our guests. Couldn’t have wished for a better evening reception and would 100% recommend."

"A massive thank you to you and the guys for such a wonderful evening at our wedding in France! You made the evening a night to remember for everyone and all of our guests were raving about you. Even our French neighbours, who had come up for a glass of wine and a 'mosey about', were highly entertained. We greatly appreciate the distance you travelled and the long night you had on Saturday but the wedding wouldn't have been the same without you. Having every dance danced to by guests, many of who had never ceilidhed before was better than we expected, especially with the heat! You were a pleasure to deal with in the months before and on the day, nothing seemed like it was too much trouble. We would be happy to recommend you to anyone considering a ceilidh band as you were without doubt the best, most entertaining and fun band we have come across."

"Rating 6/6 : Brilliant Our Wedding at Sopwell House Private Function, St Albans on Sunday 5 May 2024 Uptown Funk were absolutely brilliant and made our wedding so much fun! Everyone was raving about the band and it was so great seeing all guests on the dancefloor the entire time! We made a few requests too (our first dance and Israeli dancing) and they were brilliant for every single song. "Absolutely love this concept of music and entertainment. Delivered by an incredibly talented bunch of musicians. This is something a little bit different that is suitable for any event - a mix of modern and classic tunes, so it appeals to everyone! One thing for sure...you won't want to leave the dance floor!"
