"Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio / 08/04/2023 / Ceilidh for Eastercon 2023 (Sci Fi enthusiast's convention) We had a fun-filled, joyous ceilidh, thanks to the amazing, talented Black Velvet Band.The band members are great fun. Alan had us laughing so much with his warmth and humour when calling the dances. The booking process was straightforward and professional. When I talked on the phone to Mike in advance, I was assured that these guys knew their stuff. When I requested non-gendered calling, that was no problem. The band are very versatile - they added a little Star Trek and Dr Who music, seamlessly, into the ceilidh tunes, to give us an extra-special thrill! "Utterly brilliant! They did an amazing set and really filled the dance floor. Not only were they extremely professional and an awesome band, they were brilliant on the lead up to the wedding day too. Great communication and just a wonderful group. All night our guests told us how fabulous they were. If you're thinking of booking them then do... You won't regret it! Thanks, Mr and Mrs Tang."

"Wow absolutely these guys were brilliant. They played music to get the young and old dancing all night. They were very communicative, helpful and happy to accommodate our needs, a lot of our guests said they were the best band they had ever heard. Finding and choosing a band is quite difficult but we sat one afternoon and watched lots online, these guys just kept coming out on top. No hesitation in recommending them."

"‘Kitty Galactic’ played at my niece's wedding at Buckland Touts Saints......they were amazing! Their set included songs for all age groups and the dance floor was packed from the moment they started until the end of the evening.....just brilliant! "

"Wow, these guys were just insane. I can’t even begin to describe how good they were at our wedding. After a recommendation from my best man, we booked Josh & Nora for the evening of our wedding, and it was the best decision we made. Punctuality, professionalism and general ease of organisation really put our minds at ease during a busy and mildly stressful point of our lives. Most of the wedding party were on the dance floor in their first set ! Not a common occurrence from what I’ve seen in the past. Josh’s beat from his live drums meant you couldn’t help yourself but to move along with the music, that paired with Nora’s powerful and soulful voice provided the best combination for a night of partying. We’ve received so many compliments about J.B.MAC with everyone so overwhelmed with their talent. If the opportunity ever arises again I would instantly be on the phone to these guys again. Thanks so much for making our wedding evening everything we wanted"

"Unit 4 done my husbands 60th . We had all ages there and the band played everything , music was brilliant and I don't think I've ever been to a party where so many people were dancing . Excellent would recommend them any time , cant wait to have them back .keep up the good work , "

"This is an amazing band, totally professional, totally reliable and a joy to have at any event. Every guest loved them and would return to see them play, they get the audience involved and are a total asset to any event. Would definitely employ them again, they understand what you need them to do and are flexible and incredibly easy to work with, a great price and worth it if you want your event to go off with a huge bang. "
