"Black Velvet Band Irish Trio came to play at our relaxed outdoor pre-wedding get together of about 40 people. The three who made up the band were great – very talented musicians – they played all our favourites as well as some wider material. They were very keen to fit in with what we wanted to hear and gauged the mood as to whether to sing ballads or play jigs (after a few drinks people were up for having a bit of a dance). It was such a joy to hear live music again after all these months of covid restrictions. The Band really made the evening and they were really lovely people."

"We booked Laura after meeting on zoom and listening to her singing online. Instantly me and my sister loved her warm personality and I knew she’d be perfect for our mum’s party. She was in touch to check the running of the night, ask for song choices etc and was so organised. On the night she was incredible and everyone commented on how fab her voice was, her mix of songs got everyone up dancing and I would not hesitate to recommend her. She was amazing! Thanks for making the night so special Laura. "

"The Swiss Chalet [where Joie de Vivre played a concert on Bastille Day] is a very rare “trophy property” designed and restored exclusively for Private Members only. The Chalet is one of the most famous secret landmarks used by some of the most discerning personalities in the World. From King Edward VII right through to Charlie Chaplin, Fred Astaire, Marlin Monroe to mention but a few. Today only the most exclusive guests are privy to be entertained at this amazing private residence. For this precise reason we have carefully selected what I would call rising stars. I just wanted to say how thrilled we were with your performance at our private function. Everyone commented on how amazing [Muriele's} voice was. I have had so many people ask for your names! [Joie de Vivre were] just amazing and I can’t tell you how delighted I was! You blew our guests away with such unexpected talent. I’d highly recommend you to anyone especially anyone seeking music and performance to enhance any exquisite occasion!! You score very high in my preferred Jazz music performance !! All the best"

"Absolutely awesome, we had the guys play at our wedding and from start to finish they were a pleasure to deal with. Nothing was ever too much (they even learnt 2 new songs for us and nailed both!) Everyone was up on the dance floor all night and commented on how good you guys were. Thank you again for making our day even more awesome."

You were truly phenomenal and our guests had an absolute blast dancing along to the music (one of our guests told us she didn't leave the dancefloor all night!). "Having previously seen Rosy at a number of South Wales venues, imagine my delight to discover my sister had booked this fabulous all rounder to play at her wedding! Rosy has the superb ability to capture a room and its occupants with her beautiful voice and well planned out sets. Whether playing at a raucous live music venue, country/folk festival or private event Rosy seems to effortlessly charm the crowd and play music to suit all attending."

"Communication with the band was excellent and they made sure that everything fitted to our plans. The audience was a mixed age group and the playlist suited everyone. Great sound quality and the double bass made it just a little bit different. Couldn't fault them a great evening."
