"“They kept the vibe/party feel going throughout the whole night, even when they weren't on stage they were outside chatting with us. What a bunch of lovely guys. I had so many compliments for them throughout the night, everyone loved their songs, the mix ups and the medleys. Not your average run of the mill band, but a totally dedicated, professional and perfect performance.""

"A Huge thank you for making our special day amazing. Primed are an absolutely amazing live band and trust me, my husband and I have been to countless gigs and festivals to be able to say this, they were pitch perfect, brilliant musical timing and great entertainers.    From the moment I contacted them to the clearing away on our wedding day primed were polite, courteous and incredibly professional.    All our guests loved the songs, they managed to get people from aged 2 to 88 on the dance floor, they even sang happy birthday to my 16 year old cousin. The only complaints I have heard were from the female guests who complained of having achy feet the next day from dancing too much! "

"Katie played for our wedding in September at Arley House and Gardens. She took on our requests with enthusiasm and the music on the day was absolutely beautiful and really made our ceremony even better. "James and his band were absolutely wonderful. We had so many people compliment them and we didn’t have to worry about a thing, their set flowed beautifully. They were flawless for our ceremony and even performed a personal rendition of “Somewhere over the rainbow” which I felt very emotional walking down the aisle to. We were lucky enough to have beautiful weather so we asked to make a last minute change and if it was possible for James and the band to move outside after the ceremony for our drinks reception. They accommodated without any issues and were flawless with moving around on the day and setting up so quickly and efficiently. They couldn’t have been any more professional than they already were and we were so impressed with every song they performed. Thank you James for making our day that much more memorable and glorious. We will always be grateful and in awe of your beautiful voice!"

"We hired Kevin who belted out lots of Frank Sinatra songs at our charity ball. He really was amazing and the nicest person. He interacted with the guests and was very professional. Highly recommend him and definitely will be in touch again for future events. "

"We are so glad we found John and the band and asked them to play at our wedding! They completely made the night at our tipi wedding reception in the forest and fitted into the laid back festival/party atmosphere just perfectly. John spoke to us on numerous occasions before our big day; the organisation seemed so easy and all went according to plan. They even caught some videos of everyone dancing the night away which have given us some great memories! Everyone has been talking about the band and how brilliant they were, a perfect mix of music with a bit of a difference! Thanks to John and the band for making our wedding so incredible "

"We booked Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio for a sixtieth birthday party. Very much a family event, so all ages including children, who particularly enjoyed it, although everyone had a really great time. One of the parents told me that her little one has decided that a ceilidh is the very best kind of birthday party, so the bar was set high for all future birthdays there! A few people knew the dances already, but most didn’t, and our caller guided us through each dance so that everyone could join in the fun! The atmosphere was lovely, and the musicians were impressive, plus really lovely people who were accommodating, helpful and great fun. I would definitely recommend them; they were fantastic, and the whole evening was an absolute joy. The only thing now is to find a good reason to do it all again!"
