"Absolutely perfect band for a wedding. Range of music brilliant. Something for everyone. Everyone loved the band as much as us. Many too commented on how well they could still hold a conversation and hear clearly, the reason many don't want a band. Our venue had low ceilings too. Overall they were superb judging everything correctly to provide a fantastic evening. Would recommend to anyone."

"We had the pleasure of The Marvellous Motown Souls perform for our charity fundraiser event last weekend. I can only use the words professional and amazing to describe the band. I have booked bands before that simply turn up and play, but Liz gives so much more than expected prior to the event. We met for coffee and she brought a sheet that covers everything you could think of in order to make the event run smoothly. This included working out the custom setlist to ideas for the band raising money on the evening. The band did a bid for joining the musicians as their 7th member playing percussion, this worked a treat and raised an extra £200. You can tell the members are all friends and love what they do. Fun, energetic and they make guests feel at ease. I should mention that Max provided DJ for when the band was not playing which was also brilliant, but the band performance was the highlight of everyone evening. I will be booking Liz and the band next year and I can't recommend enough for any event. They will adapt to perfection. Thank you again Liz. Rich"

"Andy was the most natural showman we've had in our club in 20 New Years. I can't speak too highly of him. A brilliant and engaging act, he had even the most curmudgeonly of stalwarts shaking their things before midnight. We can't wait to have him back here. A rare and genuine talent. Book him while you can! ."

They played at my Mum and Dads 60th wedding anniversary garden party and were just the ticket creating a lovely relaxed vibe with several of the guests commenting on their excellence. Would definitely recommend them, brilliant job lads and thank you"

"We had the most incredible evening and so much of that was down to these guys. Every one of our guests had a blast and have been asking how to book them. Flawless from start to finish – slick, professional, and clearly just love what they do. They had such great energy on stage and their set list was nonstop bangers. "The ceilidh was all amazing, couldn’t fault it. The caller worked really hard to make sure everyone at least sort of had a clue what they were doing, and adapted it for when there were too many couples and not enough space! Only complaint is that he almost killed me making me do Strip the Willow line twice with my very enthusiastic husband!! Thanks for everything 😊"

"Lion Strings played at my wedding in August 2017. There are no other words than... OH MY GOD! She is absolutely incredible, everyone's emotions ran high on the day whilst listening to her play (she even made my husband cry!!). She is so lovely, she really helped me whilst planning my wedding, she's really easy to talk to and she really made our day even more special with her beautiful music. I cannot recommend her enough!! Thanks x"

"Have worked with these lads many times over this last year on events from beer festivals to Weddings. They have great energy whilst playing both popular cover songs and there own music and never fail to get the crowd up and dancing on the tables."

"Just wanted to say a very quick but hugely massiveee!! Thank you to you both for Saturday evening. We loved it and everyone kept saying where did I find you!! They are amazing!! So you were both really admired by all! You made it come together and we had some great dancing going on. I keep laughing, about you getting us all to chant "Wake the neighbours up!" haha hope it worked! They kept us until 5am the night before. Loved it. Thank you again."
