"Dear James You were all fantastic! Thank you for playing at our wedding reception. You made no fuss that we were running late, coped with all the requests we gave you in the run up with the french and Belgian music and are a brilliant band. "We hired the Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio for my 50th birthday and absolutely loved it. Everyone joined in with the dancing and all the dances were explained really well so it was easy to involve everyone – even the children! It was during the immense heatwave that we had in May but this didn’t stop us or the band from having a lot of fun! Thank you so much for an amazing day. We would definitely hire them again."

"Hi Davie and the band, Now that the wedding is over and we are back from our honeymoon?, I just wanted to send you a massive thank you for the awesome night of dancing we had last weekend at our wedding at Lands of Loyal Hotel in Alyth. You have got to be the best ceilidh band I have ever heard!! The rocky and fast-paced sets were just unreal to dance to and all our Irish guests loved learning how to ceilidh dance. Such an amazing night and we really cannot thank you enough! I have dropped Chloe at Freak Music a wee email to say how fantastic you were and asked if she can put the review up on their website. "Ben and the band were superb. They were flexible and helpful before the day as we discussed set content and length. They provided a great jazz trio for the afternoon drinks reception and the full 5-piece band for the evening. The first dance (Fly Me to the Moon) was perfectly played, and the whole set had the guests dancing and singing along. There were several guests who wanted contact details for their own weddings later this year and next. The Blue Suede Shoes really made the evening. "

"Band were great, very professional in terms of set up, clearing down. They were also really good at getting the crowd going. The acoustics in the room are often a struggle for live musicians so I think they coped with this well."

"We hired Rhythm 2 Keys for our evening wedding reception and they were phenomenal. They turned up in plenty of time and were really familiar and friendly. They congratulated us and were entirely professional throughout. They played 'L-O-V-E' as our first dance music and immediately were of an amazing standard. They set-up quickly and efficiently and were a great volume and sound quality from the off. They played an hour long 20-song set for a very reasonable arranged price and we couldn't have been happier. They sounded classy and fun, they are approachable and kind and our guests loved their entire set. They also adhered to all our requests and were extremely courteous and approachable. Would definitely look to hiring them again. Thank you Anita and Andy!!! "

"I cannot believe that it is already a week since the wedding which has really flown by and been a bit of whirlwind! We’ve finally got a chance to take some much needed time out to write to you to say thank you guys SO MUCH for everything that the band did last week to make our wedding amazing! Your sets were incredible, our guests have been raving about you non-stop with many wanting to come and see you again (including us)! It was everything and more than we could have hoped for ever since seeing you play in Twickenham that day back in February. Your rendition of our first dance Sail Away was amazing (and the quality of your performance a significant mismatch to our dancing skills - sorry about that!) - it meant so much that you had learnt the lyrics we edited. Your willingness to let Kintillo get up and do a few numbers (even stealing a few bangers off you!) was so much appreciated and we thought worked so well on the night. Also the early start and late finish for you guys, we hope packing away and the journey home wasn’t too bad for you. And even setting up the speeches PA - it was all so much appreciated. Thank you again, The Leathernecks were a massive part of our special day and we were so utterly impressed by everything in your planning and delivery. We will see you again! "Just wanted to say how truly happy I am with the amazing job you both did for Niki and Harry's wedding on Saturday. You entertained the guests with the perfect types of songs and Jackie's performance of the mother and daughter dance was truly sensational. Many of the guests commented on your wonderful performance. Your energy and enthusiasm was infectious and the guests were very well entertained. You are both awesome and we would highly recommend you to anyone looking for top notch entertainment."
