"After deciding I really wanted a band as a gift to play for my 30th, I did some browsing. I was then recommended R45 by another band to perform for my 30th Birthday! I then got in touch with Michael, who was so accommodating and even juggled things around to be able to play for us. We then went to watch them a month before at The Deepings Caravan Park and there 2 x sets were absolutely brilliant. They had everyone on they're feet. We then spoke to Michael after they had finished and he couldn’t be more happy to help and guide us with our night. After a month of excitement and seeing everything come together, the group arrived and set up without a problem. They all wished me a happy birthday when I walked in and were smiley and bubbly. They fitted in, like they were part of the party. I also asked if we could move things slightly earlier then the original schedule and they were happy to do this for us! The Guys then got changed and looked amazing on stage and kicked off and had everyone on the dance floor! Michael, Jamie, Joe and Arty you are all so very talented and I feel very lucky to have you perform at my birthday. You were the absolute highlight of the night and gave me a birthday I certainly won’t forget! Not only are you all very talented your the most loveliest and enthusiastic guys! Everyone that attended, loved you guys and thought you were amazing! They pulled me up on stage and sang happy birthday to me and presented me with the most gorgeous gift and card - such a lovely and thoughtful thing to do!! Thankyou!! I honestly can’t thank you all enough, I can’t believe it’s already over and how quick the night went! I’ll definitely be keeping an eye on your gig dates and will come and see you perform!! I would highly recommend R45 to anyone looking for a talented, fun band to play for there occasion. They went above and beyond for us!! They certainly won’t disappoint and you’ll be on your feet in seconds! Thank you so much Michael, Jamie, Joe and Arty for everything!"

"Its been 10 years since I ran The Bear, but I remember they were excellent and probably hadn’t been going long at that point. The lead singers voice is very impressive and quite unique. The band were very tight and produced excellent cover versions particularly the chilli’s stuff. They put their own twist on certain songs and make them their own. I’d definitely book them again"

"Hey ! These guys are really worth checking out.I was persuaded to join a group of friends who were going to see them play in Weston Super Mare and it was a brilliant evening, a fantastic party atmosphere with one super disco sound followed by another. "Good Times" indeed.Excellent musicians all of them and they nail every song they perform.See them, dig them,book them. Yowsah Yowsah Yowsah !!"

" Just wanted to email to say a huge thank u for the amazing entertainment you provided at my 40th party. You were so fantastic and entertained everyone so well. You professionally arrived, set up and read the crowd during the evening brilliantly. I have received so many lovely comments about how amazing you were and how my friends haven’t danced so much in years!! A few friends were very achy the next day from exerting themselves on the dance floor!! The other thing I wanted to say a huge thank you for, was being so kind to my boys, especially Freddie. You made his year by letting him put his guitar near yours on a stand and for letting him join in. He hasn’t stopped grinning since the party. It was a very special moment for me and my friends to watch him playing with you. Thank you so much for allowing him to join in. It made the evening so memorable. The playlist you chose and played worked so well and allowed myself and my guests to have one of the best evenings I can remember. " Superfunked provided the perfect mix of sophisticated Swing music in the early part of the evening then high energy Soul and Motown in the latter half, and even added some Elvis and Eagles. Awesome collection of singers and musicians."
