"I hired Modern Strings as a surprise for our wedding day and they did not disappoint. From initial consultation, through to the song choices, Sophie was hugely helpful and accommodating. We cannot thank them enough for making our day special – we had so many compliments about them from our wedding guests! "We booked these guys through the Son of my now wife for the evening of our wedding. Our only mistake was not booking them for longer on the evening. We should have had them all night. We had Unwritten Duo band. The vocals were awesome and capped a fantastic evening. A mixture of great soulful classics and some slightly more obscure tracks. I’d definitely travel to see these guys and the more intimate the venue the better. They could play big venues but are better in a small place where sing to you not at you. Fantastic set guys and thank you. Xx"

"The band was great as ever on St Valentines Day, everyone up dancing. I always look forward to seeing them, they never diappoint. It was a shame Chris wasnt able to apppear because of illness, so get well soon. The replacement singer was good, bul l missed all my request being played . lol till the next time.....make it soon please!"

"Hello Fiddlestix, We are just away on holiday but wanted to thank you, the band and your fabulous caller for getting our daughter’s wedding reception off to such a great start! We knew we had a few guests who would definitely get up and take part, but to have so many joining in the fun and to hear all of the glowing compliments afterwards was great! The cheesy disco afterwards was good fun too, but I think partly that was down to the fact everyone had had such a great laugh with their attempts at barn dancing and were keen to stay on the dance floor! "White Winged Doves played at my Mums 60th at Kirby Golf Club, Our guests age range was from 18 to 80, the duo played such a wide variety of music that every one was up dancing before they had finished their first set! They truly made the evening a memorable one for everyone and we can't thank them enough!"
