"Lucy & I would like to say a massive thank you for completely rocking our wedding, you are even better than your promo video’s suggests. All of our guests absolutely loved you and have been raving about how much fun they had. From the lovely acoustic duo, to our awesome first limbo and your rocking disco set late into the night, you were so much fun and sounded great the whole time. Your voice is perfect and the band are awesome but the best thing about you is the atmosphere you create. Your obvious love for preforming completely rubbed off on everyone there. From the very first tune the dance floor was packed, even our parents bounced around all evening. ​ I also have to comment on how professional you were in the lead up and on the day of the wedding. Absolutely zero hassle, we didn’t even know you had arrived until we heard you at the reception, we didn’t notice you sound check or leave, just great music for the whole day and evening. We couldn’t have asked for more. We would definitely, definitely recommend you to anyone looking for a band. Karizma you are absolutely fantastic!!!!"

"Hi Aly (and all the Aluinn and Definitives musicians), WOW - you are brilliant, amazing and totally delivered!!! Thank you all so much for playing at my party at Markington Hall last week and making it such an incredible evening. Really enjoyed both bands equally. Quite a few people were worried about the ceilidh and told me they "probably won't dance" but they did and they didn't seem to stop all night. And then the momentum seemed to pick up even more with the Definitives sets - just fab. Quite a few people have asked me for your details so I hope this will lead to more bookings in our area. "I came across Alive and Kicking on the site, I liked the video and their song list, so I thought I'd book them for New Year's Eve 2019. I had a date spare for August, so I thought it would be good to get them to play a date before New Year. After a few emails back and forth to Jan, and speaking to Rich, we were all looking forward to them playing at Calmore Community Centre. They were very professional on arrival and setting up, and have to say they went down a storm. A fantastic variety of songs from most eras and all sounded great. I'm very glad we have them for New Year's Eve, and we all can't wait to see them again. "
