"After having had an awful 2022 Matt and I decided to throw a party, we had about 45 people in mind to invite but we wanted a band. I’m always put off by huge ones that you can never really hear the voices and your head and ears ache from the constant boom boom. Finding Alfie on a google search was exciting, they sounded exactly what we were looking for, for our intimate gathering. No problem at all to deal with prior to booking, which was simple and clear, we didn’t know at that time we were in for a treat, wow, the evening was absolutely superb. Alfie and Owens sound is brilliant, you can clearly hear the songs and the music, great vocals, no ear ache, just super super sounds coming from them. The choice of music suited our evening, and the requested songs to play were no problem. They integrated with our guests, some ‘hot’ to handle, and everyone had a fantastic evening, a massive thanks to you guys, it felt like we had friends with us, not a hired in band - and yes, we will see you again! (If you’ll come back that is!)"

"Goldsworth Gerry played at our 25th wedding anniversary party. They played an excellent set for two hours , the dance floor was full at all times and everyone had a great time."

"Thank you for helping make our special day so memorable. We received a fantastic service before and throughout our wedding day and everything was very well organised. Our guests very much enjoyed the quartet and in particular hearing their favourite or well known songs being played. "Loretta and her fantastic band played at my Art-Party VIP Event during the 2018 Kensington & Chelsea Art Weekend. Her band consists of seasoned professionals with every area of set up and rehearsal meticulously coordinated. Through her wonderful repertoire of songs, the singer reached out to the most sophisticated VIP as well as the more ordinary audience. She has universal appreciation. Her fabulous voice and radiant personality, backed up by fine musicians, brings everybody together for a great party. I would not hesitate to recommend Groove Stars for bookings. Without a doubt, they head up one of the very best live acts in London."

"Absolutely amazing! Ione’s voice is incredible and they all bring so much energy and enthusiasm. On the lead up you want to be as stress-free as possible and Motown Memories took it all off our hands and delivered exactly what they promised & kept us all on the dance floor to the very end.
