"We booked Platinum for our wedding recently and we're so happy we did! The band were absolutely amazing and had such a range of songs suitable for guests of all ages. They were very professional to deal with and communication was great. Our guests never left the dancefloor and were raving about the band all evening and following few days. If you are thinking about booking them... Do it, you won't regret it."

"Thanks Glo for an amazing performance - you really got the party started and continued the vibe all through the evening! Thank you also for the great comms pre-event, it was very reassuring when I had a million other things to organise. I’ll definitely think of you first for next time!"

"It was a great pleasure to work with you. Everyone was unanimous and strong. There was a great deal of praise for the string quartet, yourself especially and I feel very lucky to have had your expertise and experience to support the choir. It would be good to do a repeat performance but I do not know when that could be. I have a summer concert in May to work on now and the Christmas concerts 2018 and 2019 . If I leave it too long then of course the singers will forget the music and I will have to put in a lot of work to bring it back. Thank you once again for your marvellous music making. It has been absolutely great It is going to be a hard act to follow. Best Wishes, "

"We had everyone singing like it was the encore for the first dance, and that sent the tone for the whole evening the guys smashed it. fantastic is all we really have to say, nailed exactly how we dreamed our wedding vibs to be. people dancing on the tables, a proper party atmosphere, the guys know how to get a room going. Soo many of our guests mentioned the band the next day and that they were the best wedding band they had seen. Can't recommend them any higher thanks for making our evening guys. The Roberts"

"Absolute Mayhem The Horse & Chains, Bushey on Saturday 30 September 2023 It's a rare thing to go into a local pub and hear a keyboard player who has been described as a musical "genius" by none other than David Bowie. This is no tall story either. The musician Billy Ritchie was the first player in rock music to give keyboards a prominent role -- and that was before Keith Emerson (ELP) and Rick Wakeman came on the scene. Billy told me that he remained good friends with the Thin White Duke until his death in 2016. Lanark-born Mr Ritchie now provides the skilful and fancy keyboards and records backing tracks for his latest incarnation Mayhem with talented female singer Carol Leslie. Carol is a really strong vocalist with a gutsy style. This dynamic duo started their first set at the cosy Sebright Arms with Elvis's late sixties' classic Suspicious Minds. The second song was a surprise -- Kirsty MacColl's comedy number There's A Guy Works Down The Chip Shop Swears His Elvis. It was a perfect choice after the first song. Carol and Billy select their material wisely and give their audience something very different from the predictable Mustang Sally, Brown Eyed Girl and I Saw Her Standing There, churned out by so many pub bands. So it was great to hear Georgio Moroder and Phil Oakey's electro smash Together In Electric Dreams, Matchbox's catchy rocker Rockabilly Rebel, Starship's uplifting We Built This City (on which Billy demonstrated his keyboard dexterity) and Solomon Burke's gospel-ish Cry To Me. And that was just the first half. Carol is happy to tackle songs usually associated with male vocalists and she started part two with a raucous version of Bryan Adams' rocker Summer Of 69. If you have never seen Mayhem, ask Billy to perform Light My Fire, the Doors rock classic from 1967. This was a sheer musical masterclass as he re-created both vocally and instrumentally this great song. Billy has a rich, tuneful voice and this was a stunning performance. Other highlights in the second half included Journey's rock anthem Don't Stop Believing, Carol's gritty interpretation if Shania Twain's Man I Feel Like A Woman and a fine performance of Bon Jovi's Living On A Prayer A total of 24 songs and I cannot wait to see this duo again. My only concern is their name. I think many club and pubgoers might think Mayhem are a heavy metal band rather than an all-round, top class duo. "The band were absolutely fantastic! We had so many people say how good you were. The setting up was really smooth and the whole evening went really well logistically. I really loved the set lists, and the sound was brilliant. "

" I booked The Verve jazz duo for my garden party to celebrate my birthday on the 15th of July 2017 after a recommendation from a friend. It was a huge success and we still talk about it to this day. The guys were really professional and friendly but, most importantly, played some wonderful and passionate jazz which made the day very special. Everybody loved it and the guys created the perfect ambiance for the event. The piano and double bass was a surprisingly full sound and the level of musicianship was absolutely top notch throughout. Highly recommended!!! Amanda Wheeler"
