I absolutely love your voice; what a pleasure to listen to!...GG you are an amazing singer! lyrically your words sung are deeply reconciliatory emanating, dancing on air, for the audience listening; so creates a space for dialogue in the heart and opportunities from across the urban landscape of mind and body to rhythmically duet and quite simply talk; and even more importantly, listen to each other and at times come to understand any previously opposing and challenging perspectives bubbling in life; married with a respectful consideration of the legacies of the past....grounded in an unswerving determination to serve the cause of peace, blended with a strong ethical belief in, and commitment to, the core value of respect for the different and shared events in time and space. GG your voice instrumental is immersive, immense and empowering to the listener; becomes internalised, so reprises hope and consideration of forgiveness, evolutionarily to the circumstances of our time. GG it’s clear to me you are a keen observer of human nature; reflected lyrically are pearls philosophical emergent from the exterior societal laced at times stories encased darkened shell, though at times a necessary struggle all the same springs forth from your voice going to the very heart of what matters assonance, this serves to fabricate a renewed alignment and balance in the minds and hearts of those whom are most fortunate, actually privileged to listen to your song. I see similarities in the maturity of your voice; well beyond your years of a gravitas, reminiscent of Barbara Streisands' depth of strength amalgamated with the simultaneous soft, undulating timeless etereral voice of Enya. "The kind of talented, young band it’s impossible not to like. Breezing through a tight set, they looked sharp, totally confident in their ability to entertain & sounded as tight as drum. The Who’s My Generation was a great final number - the quality of their music doing all the talking, to whatever generation audience."

"Eccentric Pony were the most perfect choice for our tipi wedding reception - we couldn't stop dancing all night! From start to finish, the guys were friendly, organised and enthusiastic. They went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly and created a fantastic atmosphere, encouraging everyone to get involved and have fun. We have received a lot of compliments from guests since. We now want to find an excuse to be able to book them again!"

"Absolutely fantastic. We held joint 50th/21st and 18th; Everyone was dancing all night long. The band were amazing and loved by all generations. Rhona was very professional in the organisation and very accommodating and the band were exceptional. It made the party - thank you."

"I cannot praise the band highly enough, they were exactly what we had hoped for our special day. From the moment we saw the videos we knew we had found what we were looking for and the pre-event communication was excellent to ensure they provided what we wanted. On the day itself everything went like clockwork with the two sets they played. Martini 3 have a high level of musicianship and are great at creating a good atmosphere, even in a large open plan space. Many of our guests commented on the quality of the band and we were absolutely delighted - they helped to create our perfect day. We would definitely recommend Martini 3 for any event and also we're very happy with the service provided by Last Minute Musicians in facilitating the booking."

"We cannot thank Blue Jewel enough for giving us such a fun-filled, memorable evening. The four-piece band were excellent; we thoroughly enjoyed the variety of music. The blessing dance was a real favourite! The caller was fantastic at encouraging and directing everybody on the dance floor. So many of our friends and family commented on how wonderful the ceilidh was. We would highly recommend Blue Jewel to anyone in need of talented, enthusiastic and friendly band. Thank you once again for making our wedding reception the happiest of occasions."

"Just realized that with all the end of term chaos I hadn't said thank you for getting our picnic up and dancing!! Thanks also for saving the day by arriving early at short notice when Britain's summer threw the best at us (and then some!!) and for being so flexible when things were so up in the air on arrival...definitely all the right decisions were made and everyone had a ball. We've had loads of great comments and I hope you were pleased with how many people joined in at such an early hour."

"Thursday night was a blast. Couldn’t have gone any better! On Thursday the 25th of January, the Exeter Caledonian Society hosted a Burns Night Ball accompanied by the Black Velvet Band. The band was brilliant. Their musical prowess, stamina and all round musicianship was a joy to work with - and to listen to - making the night ever better. I am so thankful for what they did. The band is easy to work with, knowledgeable about timings and can cater to any requirements. "

"I booked Nev and Russ for a garden party held for friends and family after hearing them play locally. I was very happy with the show and so were my guests. Nev and Russ are always very entertaining and play a great mix of songs from the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s, with something for everyone. Highly recommended!”"
