"Sorry for the late contact but we took advantage of a few days away ourselves after the excitement of the wedding. I just wanted to say that Secret Singing Waiters was an absolute hit at the wedding. She was brilliant. She made it a very personal performance, mingling with the guests who were almost all on the dance floor all night. Lorna is indeed a very individual performer with massive career opportunities ahead of her. Please pass on our sincere thanks and gratitude to her. "

"I first experienced House of Chords as a guest at a wedding in December 2015. They were the best live party band my family and friends had ever seen. With the responsibility of organising a joint 21st and 50th celebration, the band were at the top of our list to ensure a good time would be had by all. Again, what a night! They surpassed what were already very high expectations. These gifted guys are accomplished musicians with superb technical ability topped by pitch perfect distinctive vocals from the lead singer. Whilst genuine masters of their artistic craft, they lack any ego and their primary purpose as entertainers is to make sure everyone has a fun and fabulous time. Words can’t do justice to the hugely positive feedback we received from our guests. Hiring a band from cold can feel like a real gamble but I can assure you these guys deliver and then some. They have an extensive, popular and eclectic repertoire and can improvise and specialise whatever you want as well as adapting to the vibe and tempo in the room. The dance floor was packed from start to finish with the guests pleading for encores. They are genuinely nice guys and they fully get it's your night not theirs - although it’s clear they really enjoy playing and entertaining. This genuine enthusiasm quickly becomes infectious around the room. The band are highly professional and from the moment you make contact with the lead guitarist, Mike, you feel reassured that you will be in safe hands. A very personable guy, he’s happy to talk it through with you, makes sure the band will deliver exactly what you want and can offer helpful advice and insight to make it the best night ever. Also for our party these talented musicians take their role as entertainers seriously and they still arrived in good time to set up despite horrendous traffic problems on that day. They appreciate how important the success of your party is to you. I don’t ever write reviews but felt compelled to do so because if you are like me, you might just need a second or even a third opinion and some reassurance when planning such a celebration. I can’t say it enough -you will have a great time if you book these guys."

"" Mary was absolutely amazing at our wedding, she has an incredible voice and is such a talented musician, even learning new songs just a couple of weeks beforehand. She was a complete professional throughout, arrived on time, didn't need anything from us to get set up and perfectly suited the vibe of the day. We had so many positive comments from our guests. "I honestly don’t know where to start with this absolute legend, so I’ll start at the beginning! We met Paul at an open evening of our wedding venue - an instantly likeable chap who captured our imagination of what we could have with his wonderful saxophone playing. So we booked Paul and very shortly after had a zoom chat with him to begin planning our big day. He was always at hand during the wedding planning process and was always cool and calm, while others were losing their heads! For our wedding, Paul firstly played and sang a set of beautiful saxophone and vocals during our drinks reception. His talents were commented on by literally every guest with many saying that they felt guilty for not giving him more attention - our guests felt that a musician so talented should be fully appreciated!! And then the evening…… We didn’t really know what to expect but it is fair to say that all of our guests - from 12 years old to 80 years old were blown away by Paul. Vocals, sax and DJing through the night, Paul had our guests dancing, singing and lapping up every minute. So many of our guests were asking ‘where did you find this guy?!’ that we were rolling out a stock answer by the end of the night. I can’t remember seeing a dance floor packed and just living the moment like that before and feel privileged that this happened at our wedding. Our wedding was the most perfect day and Paul was a massive part of that. I can’t recommend him highly enough and would not think twice about booking him for a wedding, a corporate event or even just an evening of great music. Paul, you absolutely rocked and we are so grateful to you for making our special day what it was. Book him while you can!"

"They were incredible, we had them coming in as a surprise straight after the ceremony, we asked them if they could play a few songs that they didn't have on their playlist and nothing was too much trouble for them. They were so cool about everything and made our day just that little bit more special. At least two people at the wedding wanted to use them for other weddings. Perfect."

"An absolute delight to deal with from beginning to end! For a couple who lacked a strong musical vocabulary, Sonia turned what could have been an arduous experience into a seamless one. After every phone call or meeting the first words out of our mouths were ‘I love Sonia.’ Sonia and her band played evocatively in our Cornish National Trust barn setting, got our guests on their feet and provided an elegant, sophisticated and mesmerising backdrop to our wedding. The icing on the cake: Sonia’s voice is spellbinding."

"The Rampart Street Ramblers were excellent. Easy to deal with and flexible with plans, within the parameters of the booking. They had their own good suggestions (for example playing before dinner in the garden unamplified and then amplified in the marquee afterwards which worked very well.) They performed very professionally and their style was much appreciated by host and guests alike."
