"I asked Oliver to perform the first dance song and 2 others. This was a surprise for my wife to be. Oliver was fantastic in the build up to my wedding and kept in contact. He arrangements with the DJ so that he could arrive unnoticed. When it came to the time of the first dance the DJ played a little trick pretending he did not have the first dance song but found an alternative. Oliver took to the stage armed with his guitar and started to play Have I Told You Lately. My wife was amazed and thrilled to bits. He has clearly put a lot if time in practising and completely nailed it. The other 2 songs were also fantastic. What a guy. Such a lovely chap and so talented. It made our night extra special. I would recommend Oliver without hesitation. Thanks so much for being so amazing. Tony and Rachael "

"Matt, thank you so much for playing at my gangsters and molls birthday party on Saturday night. Barry and I saw you and the band playing at a wedding reception last year and you were so fantastic we wanted you for our party. You played a brilliant set to suit all tastes (I just love your cover of Basket Case!) and I really appreciate you including my couple of requests for the recorded break music. Everyone commented on how great you were (my work mates were still talking about you this morning!). We would definitely recommend you to anyone looking for a band for their special event. "Jack was really fantastic! Great communication. Arrived at agreed time to set up. Polite and courteous. His solo guitar/vocalist set was awesome and varied. We requested for music through the decades and he did not disappoint. All guests gave positive feedback. He even learned our wedding song especially. Would highly recommend this professional excellent musician. "

" Testimonials for the Hat Hats acoustic wedding duo by Ellie Holton We got married at Abbey House Gardens in Malmesbury, and we only had a small reception an intimate wedding of about 34. The Hot Hats were fabulous – they played all our kinds of music (and were very flexible too), and created such a brilliant atmosphere. They got everyone dancing and singing, including my dad and friend on the mic to their own version of Waterloo Sunset! They even took some requests on the night. I would hire these wedding musicians again for any kind of event, big or small. "

"Shakers Gold were AMAZING at our wedding; we couldn't have asked for more. They kept everyone dancing all night and so many guests commented on how fantastic the band were. As newly weds, we have loved looking back at the pics of everyone having such a good time and dancing the night away! The defining moment was definitely when my husband and I found each other on the dance floor for Shakers Gold final (sob!) number, Mr Brightside. Lots of jumping and hugging ensued; it was a fab way to end the night, as guests shouted 'more'! Shakers Gold.. you. are. brilliant!"

"I absolutely loved this pair. I recently planned a wedding in Duns, Scotland and Sally & Graham drove over an hour to play about 3 hours at my event. Everything went completely perfectly, from our communication beforehand, the song list, them adding songs I requested, the location and sound quality for their sets, and setup/tear down. I wanted a relaxed, acoustic sound with talented musicians definitely not a DJ party wedding band, so this duo was perfect for that. This website and this band are excellent value for the range and, again, quality of the music, 100% worth the price and more. Before the event, I gave them some some requests including Africa by Toto, which they REWROTE and learned in their own style (HUGE HIT and really surprised my husband). Also we coordinated a place for them to setup, the times of the sets, and what meals they wanted to have, and everything went off without a hitch. They were also so very sweet and wonderful people that they really impressed all my guests who were complimentary and wondering where I found such an amazing band. One of the best things about the Scotswood Acoustic Duo is how their song list covers a huge variety of music that they somehow play all equally wonderfully. So everyone's music tastes were satisfied and it made for very interesting listening, this was one of the compliments I heard alot. There are just so many nice things to say, please book this band and get them doing music full time because they are AMAZING!"
