"Motown Memories were absolutely incredible. They played a beautiful acoustic set in the gardens for our drinks reception, then two awesome sets for our evening do. They learnt our requested song for our first dance and played it exactly they way we wanted it, and they had everyone up and dancing all evening! They were also absolutely delightful the whole time, and even let me have a sing myself. We couldn’t have asked for a better band!"

"Flux Ensemble performed at our wedding, (Sunday 16th June, 2024), and from organising what music to play, (entrance/exit music, music for the signing etc.), through to the day itself, they were consistently friendly and utterly professional, and were not fazed one bit by our choices of tracks. Would thoroughly and wholeheartedly recommend!"

"Thank you so much for performing for us. You created such a wonderful atmosphere for our drinks reception, it felt like we were in Italy rather than Kent with the sparkling wine and sunshine. We had the pleasure of Rory playing the saxophone at our wedding drinks reception at a Winery in Kent, and in the glorious sunshine we could’ve mistaken it for Italy. The vibe that Rory created was wonderful, the song choices were excellent and Rory was great at incorporating our requests. We have had great feedback from our guests and have been sent videos of people having a little dance. I wasn’t sure whether to stretch our wedding budget for a saxophonist but now I just wish we had booked Rory for longer!"

"Flawless! James played during our drinks reception which provided the perfect backdrop and created the most amazing atmosphere. So classy and elegant - James is super talented and makes it look so easy. James has a great mix of songs to choose from and even played a couple of special requests. All of our guests commented on how amazing he was and we couldn’t be happier. Great comms throughout the whole process and so friendly. James also played during our arrival into the wedding breakfast which went down so well and was a real highlight. We can’t thank you enough! We wish we could relive it all over again. "

"A massive thank you to Soul Groove for such an amazing performance at our wedding on Saturday 22nd April. I found it so hard to find a band that I really liked but you guys exceeded all my expectations and did not disappoint on the night at all! The range of music you performed was spot on and every single guest I've spoken to since has commented on how great the band were. The dance floor as absolutely packed from the moment you started right up until the last song. Our wedding song was also performed beautifully, so thank you so much for that too. Would recommend to anyone ten times over, you were all just so vibrant and talented and I can't thank you enough."

"We wish to thank you all for such a wonderful evening on Saturday. Several people have asked us for your details. We have been asked if we'll have another barn dance in 10 years time. However, one dear work colleague suggested we hold another more quickly for my retirement... and it was suggested in two weeks time...!!!! We had so many phone calls the next day saying how much people enjoyed themselves."

"After deciding I really wanted a band as a gift to play for my 30th, I did some browsing. I was then recommended R45 by another band to perform for my 30th Birthday! I then got in touch with Michael, who was so accommodating and even juggled things around to be able to play for us. We then went to watch them a month before at The Deepings Caravan Park and there 2 x sets were absolutely brilliant. They had everyone on they're feet. We then spoke to Michael after they had finished and he couldn’t be more happy to help and guide us with our night. After a month of excitement and seeing everything come together, the group arrived and set up without a problem. They all wished me a happy birthday when I walked in and were smiley and bubbly. They fitted in, like they were part of the party. I also asked if we could move things slightly earlier then the original schedule and they were happy to do this for us! The Guys then got changed and looked amazing on stage and kicked off and had everyone on the dance floor! Michael, Jamie, Joe and Arty you are all so very talented and I feel very lucky to have you perform at my birthday. You were the absolute highlight of the night and gave me a birthday I certainly won’t forget! Not only are you all very talented your the most loveliest and enthusiastic guys! Everyone that attended, loved you guys and thought you were amazing! They pulled me up on stage and sang happy birthday to me and presented me with the most gorgeous gift and card - such a lovely and thoughtful thing to do!! Thankyou!! I honestly can’t thank you all enough, I can’t believe it’s already over and how quick the night went! I’ll definitely be keeping an eye on your gig dates and will come and see you perform!! I would highly recommend R45 to anyone looking for a talented, fun band to play for there occasion. They went above and beyond for us!! They certainly won’t disappoint and you’ll be on your feet in seconds! Thank you so much Michael, Jamie, Joe and Arty for everything!"
