From going with the flow of the timings of the day, to such positivity and beautiful vocals and music making, to making my grandma feel special having a nice chat about Northumberland, it felt like we had some friends along to our wedding to play for us. "We just wanted to say a huge thank you to you and the band for a fantastic evening and bringing the fun to the party. You guys really lifted the room and kept everyone on the dance floor. Thank you so much for learning our unusual first dance request, you nailed it! Ben, your timely communication, support and advice throughout the process were incredibly appreciated and meant this stressed out bride had a lot less to worry about! "We had a fantastic time with the Blue Jewel Ceilidh band, brilliant music. We all had such fun, everyone could join in as nothing was too complicated. The caller was very good and hit the right note, very professional and special thanks to them all for making every effort to get to the venue after the snow drifts and icy roads caused major problems for many. It helped to make our daughter’s Wedding a very special day. "

"The Tribe were very good. The guy who seemed to be in charge was very professional. The band set up quickly and we’re ready to go on time. The female singer was great and engaged with kids and got them dancing. All in all we were happy with the band and, given the demand at the time, the price was acceptable."

"Following many hours of researching for a ceilidh band for our wedding (August 2021), we decided on Blue Jewel. After an evening of brilliant music, lively calling and enthusiastic dancing, we now simply cannot recommend them enough. They are an incredibly friendly group who worked in partnership with us on the day to help create an evening that we will never forget. With a series of different dances (led by clear and directive calling), all creating a sea of smiles and energy, they are an incredibly talented group. And even despite a slight delay in the timings (from our side), they were both patient and understanding. "
