"What can we say? Yesterday was so perfect; I don’t have words to describe it, my heart is absolutely bursting with pride and love. We have to say a huge thank you for playing for us, we were so pleased with your performance, it was so good. So many people were commenting saying how good you sounded and what an original thing to have at a wedding. My brother was particularly pleased with “Thunderstruck” -definitely a classic! when you played “When I’m 64”, my heart soared. Thank you again for performing for us. We highly recommend Jo as we booked her for our son’s wedding. She’s very reliable, organized, and professional. The choice of music was vast and the sound quality in and outdoors was excellent. We would definitely recommend her for any social functions. 5 stars. EXCELLENT! "

"Hi Chris, I talked with you after my party on the night. But I want to say again, how amazing, brilliant, fantastic you and your band are (sorry I can’t remember their names). The evening was a great success because of you, I don’t think I’ve been to a party where so many people have danced so much. The way you blended the 20s to 40s music was seamless, excellently done. I and all my guests throughly enjoyed the evening, I’ve heard nothing but brilliant comments about you all, we had a fantastic night, and I hope you enjoyed it as much as we did. I really can’t thank you enough I really can’t. All I can say is a MASSIVE THANK YOU to you all for everything you did to make my party brilliant. I’ve got to think of an excuse to book you again!! "If you need a musical entertainer for an event/party look no further than James Farrant! This guy is amazing! Great communication when booking, sent some samples of his work. He will adapt your music to you and he played an excellent 3 hours of fab stuff for our 40th Anniversary party. Couldn’t have made a better choice! "

"Sarah absolutely transformed our event from the moment she started playing. Her sound is smooth, powerful and effortlessly classy, and the Swarovski sax is a real show-stopper. She reads the room perfectly and creates such an incredible atmosphere - our guests are still talking about her months later. Professional, punctual and genuinely lovely to work with."

"Nessa's a great entertainer with plenty of aces up her sleeve. Her style on stage is very charming and easily accessible to all. Musically she has always pleasantly surprised me with both instrumental and vocal skill, and excellent judgement in picking songs for an audience!"

"Joey Collins is a stand out performer on the cruise. Heard him now over several days in different sessions and he has been top notch. He is very authentic and has a great range of songs. He is also very good at engaging with the audience in a humble way, rather than showy."

"Thank you so so much for performing at Abbie and James’s wedding. You were all simply amazing and you made the party go with a swing. Everybody has mentioned in their letters the wonderful band and you were just fantastic. Dancing all night long. Thank you for agreeing to play and in such a gracious way. We hope you will play again for us if we have another do? Good luck with all your events and would love to know when you are in the North again. "

"Just wanted to say thank you so much for playing at our wedding on Saturday. The violin playing in the church was absolutely stunning and walking down the aisle to Pachelbel's canon played on a violin was really a dream come true! At school, I played the violin and Pachelbel's canon was the first classical tune I ever loved. At the wedding reception we thought you played the tunes we had selected beautifully on the piano. Many thanks again for being part of our special day! "

"It's No' Reel Scottish Ceilidh Band are an extremely talented trio of musicians, they added fun and laughter to a fabulous day. Tom runs a smooth and professional business that eased the stress of wedding arrangements. They were also a great hit with guests, venue and photographer. "We booked James to play at our Silver Wedding celebrations . He was great to deal with from start to finish . Nothing was too much trouble and it's fair to say he was a big hit with all our guests . Kept us entertained all day with his varied repertoire and a great guy to have around Thanks James , we wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone planning an event x"
