"My partner and I and seen Clea playing on many occasions and after one particular gig at a pub festival he couldn't stop raving about her talents! So after he proposed and we started planning I knew I wanted to arrange for Clea to play at our wedding as a surprise for him. I managed to keep the surprise for a couple of months but after a particular heated "wedding based" argument where I was accused of not taking on board any of his ideas I suddenly blurted out that I had, in fact spent months organising his favourite singer for him! Ha ha yeah... put that in your pipe darling! Needless to say he instantly backed down and was delighted with his early surprise present! Clea was absolutely amazing leading up to the day and was helpful (and patient) with every aspect of my planning - she didn't once laugh at my endless timelines, lists and planning tables! The weather decided to behave itself at the last minute and Clea and David were able to play their first set outside amongst the trees while our guests enjoyed Pimms and canapés. They then moved in doors for the second set and played us through dinner. We couldn't have asked for a more magical day. Thank you so much for all your help in the planning and on the day itself. "Jeremy played at our wedding recently (after 3 reschedules!) and was absolutely amazing! All of our guests & suppliers commented on how fantastic he was & how much they enjoyed listening to his set. Jeremy learned a new song for our ceremony which meant a lot to us & he played it perfectly! He is a fantastic musician and such a lovely guy, responding to requests and messages in a friendly & timely way. Jeremy was by far a highlight of our day & we’re so glad we booked him. Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"

"WHAT A FANTASTIC BAND!!! I really couldn't recommend The Marvellous Motown Souls enough to anyone - nothing was too much trouble and they were so accommodating! They play a whole range of different music to suit all tastes and we even had a music medley quiz for our event and were blown away to learn they actually learnt how to play each song! They have a great chemistry together and you can tell they really love what they do, so if you are looking for a hassle free band that bring a whole lot of energy, fun and dancing to your event, look no further than The Marvellous Motown Souls! On behalf of the KTP Team I would just like to say a huge thank you to Lizy, James, Nick, Max, Ben & Toby for making our event one to remember! Laura x"

"I book my wedding music through here, grouvcat, and he was absolutely amazing. Great set list and brilliant vocals. He truely went above and beyond, even learnt a song especially for our first dance. Can not recommend more, everyone at the wedding said how good he was. He was totally unfazed by the children that attended dancing around and generally being crazy. Thank you again for a wonderful ending to our wedding day."

"A great bunch of lads who made our wedding reception swing. Their set was exactly what we wanted and set exactly the right atmosphere. They even let me take the mic for 2 songs. Which they probably regretted within seconds! A great choice for any kind of party."

"Absolutely amazing!! We recently booked The Covered for my husbands 40th Birthday party! They were fantastic, from booking them John was so polite and accommodating, he couldn’t do enough to make the night a success! So many friends and family kept complimenting on the fantastic performance you guys put on, the quality of sound was amazing! It was hit after hit after hit! 🎉It was an outside event, and even though the rain came...they kept the dance floor full, the superb songs kept coming and we danced and sang in the rain! Such a friendly group and I would highly recommend them! My birthday next John...keep August 16th free guys! 🎉You were awesome!! All I can say is THANK YOU SO MUCH!"

"Well...what can we say....AMAZING!!! From start to finish the dance floor was never empty! Our guests absolutely loved the music played and how the guys got everybody engaged and bouncing around! Our Irish guests were certainly loving it...I think the band definitely noticed this! Thank you so so much for topping off an amazing day with an awesome evening of quality music. James has been fantastic with booking, conversations and general advice. If there’s one thing you do for your wedding...book The Spectrum! X"
