"Richard attended my parents 25th Wedding anniversary and performed their 2 wedding songs. It was a complete surprise for everyone when he appeared and he had people in tears, especially my step-mum when he performed Shuberts Ave Maria. He then performed a variety of songs later that evening which went down wonderfully. A great day made even better by Richard's truly amazing performance. 10/10."

"Modern Strings were punctual , very inobstrusive , played flawlessly all the music that we had asked for . They were well dressed and professional and just perfect for our daughters wedding in Farnham Castle , I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending them . "

"Emily & Tom played at our wedding early December 2025. They were a pleasure to work with and they were so organised and easy to talk to that is made it completely stress free! On the day they were both absolutely incredible! They are both so talented, warm and friendly - they really brought the vibes for the evening reception and helped make our day completely unforgettable! If you're looking for live music for your wedding then look no further, these two are absolutely 10/10! "

"We had Florian & Ezio play at my parents’ anniversary, and they were brilliant. Their acoustic arrangements of pop songs were perfect for the occasion, and our guests really enjoyed it. A great choice for any event!"

"From our initial contact, Lucinda demonstrated exceptional professionalism, attentiveness, and warmth. During our preliminary Microsoft Teams meeting, I outlined the event brief, and she listened with great care, offering insightful and creative suggestions that reflected her considerable experience. Following this discussion, Lucinda prepared two outstanding set lists — an elegant fusion of dramatic opera, smooth jazz, and contemporary pieces, each thoughtfully curated with either strong or subtle Halloween influences. On the evening of the event, Lucinda arrived well in advance to set up her stage equipment and conduct a thorough sound check prior to the arrival of our guests. From her stage within the marquee, she presented a striking visual presence, her elegant attire complementing the setting beautifully. Throughout the performance, Lucinda captivated the audience with her remarkable vocal talent and commanding stage presence. Despite the stormy weather and intermittent heavy rain, her voice carried effortlessly, maintaining its clarity and strength against the elements. Lucinda is an exceptionally talented, professional, reliable, and sophisticated performer of the highest calibre. "James did a great job playing at our sons first birthday party. He played a wide repertoire, tailored really well to a diverse audience with acoustic songs for both adults and children, and then a great selection of lively backing track party songs to finish! Top time had by all, James is a great professional musician and nice guy - recommended "

You seemed to capture the happy memories I have had throughout my 60 years! The guests were not expecting you and all were in awe of your professionalism. "We would like to say a huge thank you to Louise, Chris and Adam for playing at our wedding, you were brilliant!! Great set list and performance, had so many comments from our guests both on the night and after saying how amazing you were. The dancefloor being full all night says it all really. Very friendly and easy to work with which made the organisation both in the build up and on the day incredibly easy. Would highly recommend. Iolo & Hannah 10/10"
