"We were so pleased to of booked Ultra charger. They were fantastic! Every one of our guests got in touch after the evening to tell us how great they were. They were very professional, fantastic musician's and they had everyone up dancing! We will definatly be using them for our next big birthday coming up! One regret, We never got to say thanks at the end of the night- So thank you! You made our wedding reception! Jem & Col"

"We can't express our thanks for last night. The whole band were outstanding from start to finish. The organisation leading into the wedding was so easy and straightforward and we couldn't have been happier. So many of our guests mentioned how good you were and many said it was one of the best live gigs they had ever seen. Last night you really brought the feel good factor and completely made our night. The first dance was something we will never forget so thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Lots of love Nathan & Chloe."

"We've had Sonia play a number of times at the bar and it's always a lovely night. She reads the crowd very well and plays a good mix of popular jazz tunes, all beautifully played and Sonia's vocals are warm, silky and wonderful. I would definitely recommend her!"

"Lion Strings played at my wedding in August 2017. There are no other words than... OH MY GOD! She is absolutely incredible, everyone's emotions ran high on the day whilst listening to her play (she even made my husband cry!!). She is so lovely, she really helped me whilst planning my wedding, she's really easy to talk to and she really made our day even more special with her beautiful music. I cannot recommend her enough!! "Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio – Amanda’s 60th Birthday Ceilidh – December 2025 Black Velvet Ceilidh Trio played at a ceilidh to celebrate my 60th birthday. It was actually the fourth time they have played at events for my family over the last ten years, and I’m hoping to have them again in future. It was a wonderful afternoon. The band’s music was cheery and infectious and soon got people dancing enthusiastically, including guests aged from five to 85 and those who had previously warned me that they wouldn’t be able to dance because of knee problems! Phil is a fantastic dance caller who makes ceilidh dancing easy and a pleasure even for those who have never done it before. We all really appreciated his clear instructions about each dance. This, together with Black Velvet’s expert musicianship made the ceilidh very enjoyable and huge fun. I can’t wait to do it again! Thanks so much."

"I was captivated by Danny's music! We heard him sing in Congleton over a year ago, and felt immediately that he would be the perfect singer for the wedding. How right we were! He sang as she walked down the aisle.... beautiful. His choice of songs throughout the afternoon was absolutely spot on, as the guests made a point of telling me.
