"While planning a vintage tea party for Mum’s 90th birthday party, I needed an accompanist and piano player for my wartime and 40’s style sing along, which I planned to lead. My search found me the super talented and very accurate perfectionist Mark Burton at lastminutemusicians.com. When I made telephone contact and explained what I was planning, he totally understood and was very helpful making suggestions for songs to be played, arrangements and keys. We then had lots of communication over email, he was prompt to answer any questions and bent over backwards to help. On the day of the performance he greeted me with a smile and did his best to quell my nerves, during his solo spot, he played with distinction lots of old favourite tunes as background music. He played the piano in the venue for around 45 minutes solo then took a break and came back on his own keyboard with myself on vocals for a further hour set as accompaniment to my singing and the family sing along to tunes such as “putting on the Ritz” and a wartime medley from “pack up your troubles” through lots of other wonderful tunes ending on “land of hope and glory”. The result was that my Mother and indeed all of the family were thrilled to bits. They have been raving about it so much. It has given us outstanding and lasting memory of the perfect birthday with perfect entertainment supplied by Mark. Thank you so very much Mark you are an outstanding musician and I will recommend you to anyone in need."

"We cannot recommend Gareth highly enough. He has worked with both our boys for several music exams and their resulting distinctions were definitely achieved due to Gareth's attention to detail and persistence. He has a wonderful affinity with teenagers and genuinely enjoys working out what makes them tick. He is a sensitive and extremely accomplished accompanist who plays with great musicality and expertise. He is a real joy to have around. "

"Sarah played at our wedding in 2012 & she was amazing! we asked a total mixture in music genre and every thing we asked for we got. Sarah played twice throughout the day in the exceptionally large reception area for the arrival of our day and evening guests. all guests commented how fantastic it was to walk into live music and how relaxing the atmosphere was! Sarah was an essential part of our wedding day."

"Nigel performed an amazing ensemble of songs at our wedding ceremony on his piano and went above and beyond to make it this the most incredibly beautiful day for us. He tailored the music perfectly to fit with the guests walking in and while the wedding procession was happening so it was seamless. His knowledge and ability to play on demand and by recollection is remarkable and he is an absolute professional. We cannot thank him enough for giving us a day we will never ever forget and recommend him of the highest regard. He even managed to learn a special song we had requested which only added to the emotions of the day. Nigel is the most kind-hearted of people and spends a lot of time getting to understand you as people and your wedding visions to make the whole process really personalised. Thank you so much! "Matt is an incredible musician and an all round lovely person. You would struggle to find a more kind and polite professional! Nothing was too much to ask, Matt took time to get to know us as a couple in order to put together the perfect variety of music for our day, including taking on guitar playing and perfecting the tempo in which piano music was played. We had so many compliments regarding Matt’s music and personality. He was a brilliant addition to our day and we would book him again in a heartbeat! Thank you so much for being such an important part of our day, Matt."

"Absolutely fantastic! If you’re going to do anything for your wedding then this should be it! It was the best decision we made and it had such an amazing impact on the day. Walking down the isle is such a special moment and Nigel just topped it off, he made sure the right part of the song was played at the right time and it was just beautiful! Nigel played for our ceremony, drinks reception and wedding breakfast, I loved that he was there for all three of these moments because it just continued to create an amazing atmosphere! He also took requests from our guests, which they loved! Nigel played so many amazing songs that we all loved and we can’t thank him enough for making our day even more special! He even took short videos of moments throughout the day which he shared with us, moments that we would never be able to capture ourselves so we appreciated this so much!! 1000% recommend! "

"Lawrence's playing was the highlight of our day on the cruise and provided a very varied programme of music. His repertoire was all embracing and entertaining whilst we supped our wine! He readily offered to play requests and his improvisation just had to be heard. Thank you Lawrence."
