"I will begin by saying I am not the bride -I booked Violin for Weddings to play at my birthday party. We had 100 guests, many of whom were not familiar with Emma Fisk's music. They were enchanted with the quality of the playing, the repertoire and the originality of my choice for background music. Emma was certainly a huge hit. She was very professional- arriving in good time and offering to play two sets to fit in with the serving of the buffet. I left the choice of music up to her and it was perfect. Easy to listen to, very enjoyable - suitable for all tastes. She pitched it perfectly- people could listen but also chat to friends. The music complemented the evening, it didn't overshadow the night. I would certainly recommend Violins for Weddings for weddings and parties."

"I heard Tamilla play on YouTube and knew that I wanted her to play at our wedding. From start to finish Tamilla was great; she is always there to answer any questions and made the whole process very easy. The stand out for me was Tamilla agreeing to learn a number of new songs, just for our day, which goes above and beyond the call of duty. Tamilla is the epitome of professional, a very sweet lady and was absolutely incredible on the day. Many guests asked where I found her and said she was the best they had heard - I think they also appreciated Tamilla's modern take on violin playing. I wouldn't hesitate to ask Tamilla to play at another event. She was just fantastic. Highly recommended :)"

Ever since I was a little girl I always imagined walking down the aisle to a violin, so thank you for forfilling my dream. Thank you so much for the effort you put in to work the room and get everyone involved after the ceremony. I've been told you even took requests from some of our 'tipsy' guests which made there day. We both really appreciate the extra time it took for you to learn the new songs for us, which made our day extra special. Also thank you for the surprise cd you placed in our post box, it was a nice treat to find "

"Our father died aged 91 recently and as classical music had been his absolute joy throughout his life, we knew that we had to make it part of his small and very intimate funeral. How lucky (and delighted) we were to find through lastminutemusicians that a professional, Miriam, lives locally and that she would like to be part of this celebration of his long life. Miriam could not have been more helpful or sensitive in helping us to choose and adapt four very special pieces and she played them beautifully, especially as unlike a wedding there was so little time for preparation. We shall never forget the sound of her playing her arrangement for cello of Ralph Vaughan Williams' Five Variants of 'Dives and Lazarus' as my father's coffin was lifted and borne out of the chapel, and continuing to hear it as we followed it to his final resting place. It was the one piece that he had ever mentioned as wishing to include at his funeral, and it meant a huge amount to have it played live by someone who cared very much about her role in the service. He would have loved to have heard it, and who knows, perhaps he did. Our heartfelt thanks, Miriam."

"Just wanted to say thank you so so much for Saturday! Your playing was absolutely stunning, I'm just gutted I didn't get to sit down and just listen to you play from start to finish! You made the ceremony absolutely gorgeous despite my giggling fit and Rich's "speech impediment"!!! Hilarious! Everyone said having the harp music was gorgeous in the reception too and I loved your huge concert harp! Beautiful! "The wedding day was very hectic for me and I didn’t have a chance to speak to Zoe before she started playing, but she was very proactive and self sufficient and when it was obvious that I was running late she kept on entertaining the guests. She handled everything really well, it was very hot outside, but she looked beautiful and cheerful with her harp. The music was ethereal and everyone absolutely loved it! She played what I asked for and came up with other music recommendations for the best effect. Thank you Zoe for making our special day magical!"
