"Dear Alter Ego, Sorry this has been some time coming but just wanted to thank you for such a fantastic performance to celebrate my 50th Birthday. I have received many comments for the wonderful evening that was had by everyone and just wanted to pass on my thanks on to you all. I felt the whole evening was a very enjoyable and successful one and I managed to raise over £1500 for St Catherines Hospice which they were very pleased to receive. "Definitely the best band we've ever heard play at a wedding! Can we say that about our own reception?! I think so! Fresh Grooves were so SO good, they totally blew us away and our family and friends were loving it too. Great songs and really good performers. We would definitely recommend them!"

"We haven't really had the time to relax yet, and proper thank you’s are on their way! However, it was really important to us to write a quick thank you to you both for the simply perfect performance you did for us on our wedding day in Domfront, France ! Church, lake and party! We really couldnt have imagined it being more perfect!!! And we have you guys to thank for a lot of that. We really appreciated the “little touches” like in the songs in the Church and our personal song at the lake! And above all! You got everyone on the dance floor from the moment you started and I cannot tell you how many people have said that it was the best party and best live band they have ever been to at a wedding. (we will be finding a way to write this in a review for you guys). Barrie, you have been a massive help! and made the whole experience not only possible, but enjoyable. It was a real pleasure to meet you guys and I will certainly be recommending you guys to people in the future. I hope you managed to get back ok the next day and that you also managed to have a good time yourself after your set was done, But we really appreciated you staying late, as the meal massively over run! And thank you for accomodating my Dad, as this meant a lot to me. Ok , well! Back to reality. "Just wanted to say thanks very much for sat night at Cardiff county hall. Everybody enjoyed the night and Im sure you noticed my best mate Allan did too! Thanks so much for learning Oleta Adams - get here I was so chuffed with it you played it really well and the singer was brilliant. All my guests were asking if you were local, when I told them no, they were amazed that you came from Bristol only for a few hours, and I am glad you did. "Larry and the Hot Crossed Buns are quite literally my favourite band I've ever seen perform, and that's a statement! I've seen acts from probably every music genre and nothing hits like they do! Not only is the music fantastic but the performance and entertainment is top tier! You can't help but jig along to everything they play and their crowd engagement is awesome. Each member of the band are also really lovely to chat to if you manage to catch them after a gig! My only gripe is that they're not close enough to me to see them perform enough, although I did grab a band tee and often rep them on the school runs. Honestly though, if you're around and these guys are playing - go and see them, you can thank me later xo (even if you're not close by, they're genuinely worth travelling for). Lovely band and boys!"
