Review Centre: Wedding Bands

"The Hot Hats were one of two bands that played our "festival-themed" Wedding celebration at the Winterbourne Medieval Barn (Bristol) last Saturday (1/7/17). The guys played four sets overall and were simply outstanding, everyone had a great time. Their musicianship and showmanship were faultless and they know certainly how to work a crowd. More importantly Alfie and Russ are really nice guys, who were happy to adapt their show to fit in with the several restrictions imposed by the venue. A truly professional outfit, I simply can't recommend The Hot Hats enough for any party! Thanks again guys! Although...maybe include your warm-up Metallica songs in the set next time? "Adam played at our wedding and delivered a brilliant, well thought out performance, it worked really well for the setting and created a nice atmosphere. Adam was so easy to work with and genuinely seemed excited for our day which made it feel even better. I loved too that he took the time to learn new music on our request. As well he was very well organised with the set up and sorted everything out without us having to get involved at all. Communication was excellent, very proactive and detailed when it came to the playlist and making sure he had all the details. This took all pressure off us which I very much appreciated! Highly recommend Adam for great music and good vibes 😎 "

"We booked The Good Citizens for our wedding & it was wholeheartedly the best decision we made! The Good Citizens were extremely responsive from the initial contact, they kept regular communication & answered any queries we had. The timings were accommodated beautifully and no request seemed too big. Our guests felt completely at ease and The Good Citizens matched the tone of our wedding & complemented the vibe we were looking for. Family complimented us on our choice of band, one uncle stating it was the best live band he’s seen in years! Whatever occasion, I truly would recommend The Good Citizens. Our wedding reception wouldn’t have been the same without them!"

"We met The Stereo Jacks at our friends’ wedding the previous summer - they were incredible and we immediately enquired about booking them for our wedding. They are a lively, high quality, fairly priced band covering a wide range of memorable, energetic favourites. They were also more than happy to learn a few songs at our request. Very flexible and easy to liaise with when managing the booking. Highly recommend the Stereo Jacks!!"

"The Spinettes were booked by the residents at Harleston House for a musical event that they had planned for Dementia Awareness Week. The girls were very warm and friendly with their performance but remained professional performers throughout. The music and the selection of songs for our client group was spot on, its not easy to keep people with Dementia engaged but they managed very well. It was lovely that when they finished their show the girls took the time in going round chatting to the residents and their relatives this was a lovely thing to do. The residents are still talking about it and they all said what a lovely time they had together. I have been requested to book them again and I have no problem with recommending this group and their manager for any event that requires this style of entertainment."

"A big thanks to It's No' Reel for coming to play at our wedding in Norfolk - you were brilliant! Over half the guests were complete novices but thanks to your great calling and tunes you got all the guests involved and everyone loved it! So much for our concerns about people needing encouragement, we could have done with a much bigger dance floor! Tom was very easy to deal with on the run up to the day and flexible on the night. Your recommendation for Strip the Willow for our first dance was a brilliant idea and the spontaneous Auld Lang Syne was a thoughtful touch. The ceilidh was definitely a highlight of the day. We would highly recommend It's No' Reel for any wedding or party! "

"We were lucky enough to book Das Brass for our wedding. We wanted something unique for our wedding and asked if they would mind performing as we left the church after our ceremony. Das Brass then led a procession of our guests to the venue and even performed on the boat we had booked to get us there. They really were brilliant and got everyone singing along. One of the main highlights of our day and would 100% recommend booking! The guests raved about them all day!"

"BEST WEDDING BAND EVER!!! Tony and his band played for our wedding ceremony and reception and were AMAZING! We made the error of seating Tony behind our guest during the ceremony and his performance was so good half our guests thought it was a CD playing! For the evening reception, incredible performance, incredible musical execution and spot on choice of songs. All the guests we've seen since the day have raved about how amazing the band were. We had an amazing venue, and fantastic weather but it was all upstaged by how great the band were."
