Review Centre: Background Music Bands

"We were looking for a musician/singer for a birthday garden party and James P. Anno fit the bill perfectly. His extensive list of soul/jazz/current songs was great and we were able to choose 10-15 songs off his list to play along with others that he played. We also requested a song that was not on his list and James happily learnt the song which was really appreciated and well received. We had two 1 hour sessions with a relaxed feel for the first set and then a more uptempo second set, which is what we had asked for and worked really well for our afternoon/early evening party. James corresponded well, we had a zoom meeting to discuss what we wanted, the atmosphere we were trying to create and he took it all on board. James arrived early to set up, he was polite, friendly and professional throughout and was extremely flexible. James was a huge success with us and our guests, he is a great pianist and singer and there was lots of dancing. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend James."

"I recently booked The Jazzeroos for my Dads funeral service, I must say that the guys were fantastic and exceeded my expectation making the day very special for me, they sounded and looked amazing. "Thank you so much for being so amazing, not just last Saturday but also in the run up to the wedding! We had the most amazing day, absolutely perfect from start to finish. It was SO much fun! Having now seen the band at 4 family weddings, you seem to get better and better! The packed dancefloor from start to finish on a very hot summers evening was a true reflection of how great you guys are. "The Romanza string quartet played for our wedding and were absolutely superb. Helen was wonderful at communicating with me prior to the event via email. They had an extensive repertoire and we chose classical music for the ceremony and pop afterwards. They made the day feel so special - thank you so much!"

"We just wanted to say an enormous THANK YOU to you and Alex for the fantastic set you did on Saturday at Ben’s 40’s Themed 40th Birthday Party! You were so friendly and helpful that many of the guests assumed you were friends of Ben’s. Well you are now! Your voices and Alex’s guitar playing were really lovely and the choice of songs was spot on. I really appreciated the way you took charge of any announcements and navigated the events during the evening without ever taking over, so that it took away any stress from us. Thanks also for enabling Izzy to use the backing tracks so that she could sing some special songs for Ben .You both really helped to make the evening such an enjoyable event for all involved. Lots of people commented on the music and wanted to know who you were, and the staff at the venue said how much they had enjoyed the music and the atmosphere it created. I know Ben will be in touch with you soon, but once again thank you both so much again for helping to make the event ‘go with a swing’ so that we all had a really lovely evening.
