"Duncan was fantastic! He was a wonderful addition to the day and fundamental to the awesome atmosphere of our very special day. We could not have asked for more! He skilfully contributed to keep moments of the ceremony, adding emotion and structure to the short but special ceremony. Duncan is so skilled and is such a lovely, positive person. "I asked The River Jazz Quartet to play at my mother's funeral and wake: her will specified "New Orleans music to cheer the attenders" and The River Jazz Quartet filled the role perfectly. At the wake they changed to the sort of 1930's and 40's swing that Mother grew up with, and also played one of Jan's own compositions from the 1970's as a special treat. The matter was dealt with professionally, with the band giving good advice in advance and turning up in good time on the day. Highly recommended."

"We couldn't have been more pleased that we picked The Romantics as our wedding band. Aside from being really talented musicians and incredibly professional in the lead up to the wedding, they were absolutely phenomenal on the day and really got everyone involved. The fact that they moved around was also amazing, as it worked well for a summer's evening when people wanted to be outdoors, as they also got to dance and sing along outside without missing out. I couldn't recommend them enough to anyone looking for a band for an event and so many of our guests are still saying what a great choice they were. We absolutely loved you guys! "

"Lee was extremely professional and played beautifully for our wedding ceremony, drinks reception, and wedding breakfast! The communication beforehand was very good, and we worked out when he would be playing and when I would need music played via my iPad. I had asked him to play music from movies, and his selections were spot on. He was also very flexible with the three specific songs I requested for the various parts of the ceremony. Something happened during the processional and the bride's entrance where the songs didn't change as planned; however, I don't blame this on Lee, as the venue had him hidden around a corner where he couldn't see the people coming in. I think if we had touched base right before the ceremony we could have clarified things so that is the only thing that I would recommend for next time. Otherwise, absolutely loved Lee!"
